I am currently a patient of Dr Sherman. He has been my dictor for many years. I have read the bad reviews given by others and wonder how they can say what they do about him. Dr Sherman basically gave me my life back after seeing doctors that really didn't know how to handle my situation correctly. He is a professional and he does circle around other doctors. The office staff is very polite. Never had any problem with his current staff. I give staff and Dr. Sherman all 5 stars.

Beware!! After waiting 6 weeks to see him he put me on a drug that I told him had a side effect.. then switch to another that was worse. Then I missed a appointment due to surgery and was sent a 50$ bill when I called about it, they acted as if I was lying. Then 3 weeks later I get a bill for 2 missed appointment..!!100$ .. when I called the lady told me it was my responsibility, I told her I did not make the appointment and she said not to argue me...make your money by helping not hustling!!

Dr. Sherman is a 70 year old borderline obese male. His manner, hair & form of dress are off trend for current standards & seems fairly womanly but he has a rather snobby machismo manner. Dr. Sherman does embellish & add to your story so I would hope you bring an Advocate with with you while in session with him. He is not women friendly, I would advise you to seek another Doctor if you are a female. He has a Traditional role of a woman. Not Modern Thinking at all of Women in Current Society.

Worst experience I've ever had. Was arrogant throughout. Wanted to put me on an antipsychotic (many side effects) for minor depression. I told him I'd rather try something else and his response was you need to do what I tell you. I told him I respect his recommendation but am not willing to take that medication, what are other options? He then abruptly ended the session, left his office and walked out to his vehicle. I had no medication and had to try to get in elsewhere. Completely unethical!

I had quite a few claims and billing issues with Dr. Sherman's office and had to take the initiative to get things corrected. Visits are short and I sometimes feel like I'm being rushed out. Staff is very impersonable

Dr Sherman and staff are very professional and easy to get an appointment with. He has a very calming voice and very through health examination and plan of care. He and his staff are prompt and courteous and a delight to work with. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. Being previously in the health care field myself, I find NO ONE that would even compare to what he has brought to me and my family under his care! I also worked with counselor Beth Ewing whom is outstanding!

Dr Sherman has been one of the few doctors to continue seeing my mother as a patient. My mom is OBVIOUSLY addicted to her medication, and my family has made him known of this. He tells us it's our responsibility to monitor the medication and won't even try to fix the situation. He's robbed me of a mother, and I suggest you don't let anyone you know see this horrible man.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sherman's for approximately 7 years. In the beginning, I felt like he was the answer to handling my depression and anxiety disorders. As the years have passed, our sessions have become shorter, some lasting less than 10 minutes. He makes a few notes, renews prescriptions, schedules next appt, and off you go. I feel the personal touch is now gone. And, when I've needed him to speak to me not being able to work, he has said no.
