Dr. Thomas Richmann, MD

I took my son to see Dr. Richmann for a follow-up appointment regarding his acne. We had originally been prescribed two medications and declined to fill one due to the $200+ cost and the fact that an identical OTC option was available for much cheaper. We notified Dr. Richmann's office and our decline of this medication was recorded in our file (according to the staff). After our follow-up appointment, Dr. Richmann requested that both prescriptions be filled by Express Scripts even though we had never filled one of the prescriptions. Express Scripts charged us $211.94 for the prescription we never requested and would not accept a return because it was the fault of the doctor's office. Dr. Richmann lied and said that we requested it (even though his own files said we declined it). How can you trust a doctor that lies to you? We are shopping for a new doctor now.

Very personable and does a good job explaining things but the last few visits have disappointed me. Missed the diagnosis of HFM. Made a mistake during a procedure that led to an unplanned followup and possible infection. Entered the procedure room and there was blood soaked gauze on the workstation from the previous patient. I asked them to clean that up prior to starting my procedure.
