Dr Mulhearn is a good cardiologist but his staff stinks! They r horrible ppl. His nurse Stephanie never returns calls and never answers her phone i have left message after message and still not call back. I have to be cleared for surgery and can not get Stephanie to call me back. The girls are very that work the desks. I called patient relations today and the girl reached out to the office and they literally kept hanging up on her she kept calling back and still hung up on her she told me the girl that answered was soooo rude. She states she will be calling the Dept of Health on them for treating their patients the way they do so they can get to the bottom of what is going on. I asked for their manager and they will not let me speak to a manager they hang up on me as well. I have never in my entire life had to go thru this horrible situation. They will not correct my FMLA paperwork so I have been denied. They need a whole new staff in that office. I do not recommend them to anyone

I believe that Dr. Mulhearn is a good doctor, but he has immersed himself into stent installations & relies heavily on his NP to handle in-office visits. She doesn’t make the best decisions. I had HBP and was told that “I” needed to get it under control, using the excuse that daily life was affecting it. I moved to Texas and was assessed in Houston. My new Cardiologist put me on BP meds and my HBP was instantly resolved! Also, Dr. Mulhearn’s NP stated two years in a row that the stress test was “inconclusive” because they couldn’t get my heart rate up enough. Houston Cardiologist informed me that this is when a NUCLEAR stress test should be done, which is the only kind he does. The sad part in this is that Dr. Mulhearn accepted everything in my case and did nothing about any of it. In my opinion he relies too much on a NP who isn’t making sound decisions & this affects his reputation. The Houston Cardiologist SAVED MY LIFE!

Dr. Mulhearn "might be" ??? a good Cardiologist/Vascular Doctor, but, in my opinion he has very "selective hearing" and very quick in and out of the room without really talking to YOU or listening of your needs. I would NOT recommend him to family and friends. In fact, I'm going to fire him and find someone that listens to ME and what MY needs are.
