Second time to see him on emergency. Horrible, scary person. Does not know what a excellent doctor would know. He is no doctor in my book. He just looked at me and didn't even check rash. I know a good doctor I work in field . He is not a doctor be careful

I came to Dr. Margulies as a new patient, I'd recently relocated to Medford, my previous provider was a regional HMO. The doctor's staff failed to send new patient paperwork in advance, the appointment was rushed, this was my 1st time with a "private practice" doctor. Lesson learned today - asking questions for clarity when you're confused about a process (like picking up prescriptions) or don't understand "how things work" aren't welcome. Also, don't forget one of your prescriptions and then bring it up later, because he'll blame you for not mentioning it and think you're holding back, or after something else. I've never had a so much as a hiccup with a medical professional even at my lowest moments. I have never been treated so disrespectfully or uncompassionately by a medical professional in my life. Note that this is also a doctor who offers to shake your hand in a pandemic...should've been my first clue.

Dr Tom Margulies has been my primary care physician for over two decades. He listens. He seeks patient input before making his recommendations or providing a prescription. He is no nonsense. You will hear HIS concerns for your health and lifestyle. He demonstrates professional concerned care and gives solid advice beyond the prescription pad.

I told Dr. M that I have hot flashes in my lower leg. He said it is nothing to worry about, and did not do the research or any testing on me for this condition. I read online that it could be a blood clot. A blood clot in a 69 year old woman is NOT nothing to worry about.

I have been a patient of Dr Margulese for 5 years. I am retired and on Social Security. From the first appointment I had a great connection with Dr. M. I have complete trust in this doctor. Under his care my health has improved. He has even motivated me to begin to loose weight.

I have been seeing Doctor Tom for years. I trust him, he is a class act in my opinion. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had and I am 65 years old. I currently have diabetes and he has helped me keep it under control by diet alone. I always look forward to seeing him, along with being very professional he is funny and always make me laugh and I always have a good feeling when I leave his office. I would give him a 15 on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being excellent). Doctor Tom is awesome.

I would give him a zero - if I could. He made my mother-in-law cry! An 84 year old woman... balling. He did not provide care to her. Aweful. I never post... this was a horrible experience and I would highly recommend never seeing this physician I could explain the entire visit. It was bizarre but I don’t have enough characters. He stormed out of the room saying call the police - call 911. He lost it.. do not see him - he has a horrible temper. Worst doctors appointment ever!!!

About Me

care philosophy

I don't make decisions for patients. I try to explain the facts, the options and the pros and cons of each approach. The final decision is always the patient's and it's always respected. I use drugs sparingly and only when really needed.
