Satisfied patient
Dr Hooker has been my doctor for a few years. Another lung specialist sent me to him and I was re-diagnosed and feeling better in no time. Now, I'm very sick and unorganized. He was very patient with me and knew all of the right questions to ask. I have no doubt that I will improve again as well as I can under his care. He works for the patient. Hard. Listens with compassion.I have 3 Asperger's sons. Geniuses. When I give someone a compliment of intelligence, it's been earned. Dr Hooker is a very intelligent doctor. He will remain on my team as I go to a university and out of state for complicated medical care.

I have sleep apnea. I was being treated by another local Doctor. I had trouble using the CPAK machine and the other doctor told me there was nothing further he could do. Dr Hooker spent more time with me on my 1st visit with him than my other doctor did total in 5 years. He was able to refer me to a dentist who made a mouth retainer that has been a lifesaver for me . I would recommend Dr Hooker and his staff to all my friends and family. Thank you

If your over elderly, I wouldn't recommend. Didn't seem proactive on diagnosis or treatment, appears aloof and uncaring just waiting for the worse. When I asked him about my elderly grandmothers diagnosis, he asked me if she had a living will. I asked, why? Is she not going to improve his reply, was a very curt, that's not what I was talking about, are there any other questions and walked out of the room. I was speechless. Grandma is doing well and we found a new group who is excellent.

my mother had a lung mass picked up on an xray before a routine surgery. we were referred to Dr Hooker and could not have been happier with our experience. his office was clean and professional. he was very courteous and responsive to our questions and fears . most importantly he guided my mother thru the surgery and follow up and she is doing great. I would recommend Dr Hooker to any of my family and friends

Dr Hooker was kind, thoughtful and helped me devise a plan to be proactive with my asthma instead of reactive. During my appointment he took time to understand my problem. My follow up appointment, at a key time frame Dr Hooker identified, proved my asthma begins much earlier than I recognized. Dr Hooker's professional advice is helping me breathe easier this season, I'd say that's worth 5 Stars.

I saw Dr Hooker a number of years ago and last week had to go to the emergency room. I used to have a concentrator and when I changed oxygen providers, he did not write the prescription with the new provider and I have been w/o oxygen for a few years. The people in the emergency room said I should have oxygen and in desperation I called Hooker and asked them to look up my records. They would not schedule an appointment, allow me to talk to a doctor and hung up on me.
