Rude and incorrect
Harris pushed for an unneeded admit and overnight stay for our son. When we declined stating we planned to get treatment from a specialist at a competing hospital system, Harris became combative, rude and condescending. Harris speculated about our son’s health, which we felt was an attempt to bully us into staying with his hospital. His speculation/fear tactics were proven to be incorrect. We felt like he expected us to bow down to his recommendation and waited over two hours to be discharged from the ER apparently based on this petty little tyrant’s temper tantrum. We would not recommend his services.

thought I was having a heart attack
Dr Harris seemed thorough and was easy to talk to. He ran test and found out that it was pneumonia brought on by covid-19. If he had a private practice I would go see him!

Dr. Harris took care of me recently and was very personable and broke things down for me in a way that wasn't rude. He repeatedly checked in despite the hospital being obviously very busy. I wish he was my regular doctor.

A very professional and personable trauma specialist!!! Listens very well and explains in detail any concerns I had. If he didn’t know the answer to something he suggested specific specialties. Was very pleased with his demeanor, professionalism, and treatment.

He was incredibly rude and condescending. He has the bedside manner of a troll. When I asked the nurse if I was allowed to have ice chips, he stormed in and yelled at me as though I were a misbehaved toddler. I have never seen a physician act so unprofessionally.

Rude, went as far as to say "Why are you in my ER? Why didn't you go to the hospital closer to home?" Answer was my specialist has admitting privileges at Floyd Hospital. My GP told me to go immediately to ER based on my blood labs. Bedside manner abrupt. The nurses and techs were awesome at the ER at Floyd Baptist Hosp. Dr. Thomas Harris is not anyone I would recommend or ever want to deal with again.
