A great surgical experience
I had gallbladder Removal done by Dr. Franey. He also found that I had a hernia and was able to fix it in the same surgery. The process was easy and they worked with me when I decided to change hospitals for surgery. Him and his nurse Cindy are very kind. It was a great experience and I will see him again if I need anything else done in his area of expertise.

I was recommended to see him regarding gall bladder removal based off the findings in an ultrasound. The nurse that saw me tried to prepare me for a pap smear that I was not there for and she grabbed the gown from me and put it back in the drawer. He came in and let me talk about my issues, but he asked me quite a few things sometimes as many as three times each like he was not listening to me. He gave me questionable diet advice. He told me he was 50/50 sure it was my gall bladder and then, changed it to 60/40 and that he wanted to book it as soon as he could. He wouldn’t tell me the cost of surgery. Just told me I needed to discuss it with my insurance. They, of course, don’t know what he charges only how much my plan covers and my deductible. I am getting a second opinion.

Dr. Franey did my recent bilateral mastectomy. I found him very caring and professional. He and his staff were easy to talk with and were very attentive to my needs. Dr. Franey has also done surgery on other members of my family with no bad comments from anyone. From my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Franey as your surgeon.

Dr. Tom Franey and his staff were amazing. Not only did they take of me and my breast cancer but also took exceptional care of my husband during this time of stress. The team was very understanding and compassionate and very easy to talk to. I am so glad I chose them to save my life! If someone is looking for that "special" team, this is the one.
