Dr. Thomas Facelle, MD

I had two previous prostate reduction surgeries at TUCC that went relatively well. It turns out I have a healthy growing prostate, and went to Dr. Facellfor a third procedure (5 year after the 2nd). The problem is his staff. They are just terrible. The person they assign for taking calls communicates in very poor English. And you cannot get any message to his PA, MA or nurse without going through this dispatch system. After my surgery, I believe I’ve developed prostatitus infection. I went to see his assistant, Vincent, who took a urine sample . I told him I was going to Europe and I needed fast turnaround. They want you to go through their portal and no one seems to look at it. I got a message today from Vincent saying that unfortunately his assistant failed to turn the sample in for yhe culture. This culture was very important and helping to decide whether to take amoxicillin or cpro amoxicillin is for UTI, and cpro is for prostatitis. In short, my experience has been just awful.

Poor customer service. Nice guy just collecting a paycheck.

An assistant was rude on the phone and the physician was very aloof, distant not caring

He seems disorganized. He tried to scare me when he thought I might have cancer then he has been less than forthcoming with his help or general information now that we know I have cancer. He has not followed up on providing an MRI of my prostate and I have to go to my GP even to get PSA blood tests. I have a friend in a similar position to me and his urologist sees him and helps him far more frequently and with far more care than Dr. Facelle does for me.

I'm a somewhat experienced "urology patient", and so far Dr. Facelle has been by far the best urologist I've seen. He listens with undivided attention, and he makes sure he understands everything that's going on. He answers all of my questions and explains my issues while providing me insight with what I can expect during treatment/recovery. He has also recommended a long-term screening strategy for my miserable cancer genetics - I didn't even ask for help with this. In short, I was expecting a bunch of unpleasant, expensive procedures, (which have never proved helpful in the past). Instead, Dr. Facelle has armed me with information such that I can understand and cope with my unique problems. I find Dr. Facelle to be very kind and supportive. He's very calm(this is good for me), which could perhaps be interpreted as somewhat stoic by some patients. But for me, Dr. Facelle's keen focus, competent medical expertise, and outstanding communication are a winning combination.

Dr.Thomas M. Facelle Was my doctor for over a year. I changed doctors due to the fact that he was about 20 miles away. My new doctor is only a couple miles away. Dr. Facelle was very kind and helpful as well as understanding. He was very patience with me and went above and beyond when it came to taking care of my needs. He has good bed side manners. I was glad to have him as my doctor. I would certainly recommend him. Most of his staff was very polite but not all.

A family member was covered in blood after his kidney stone was removed— due to complications with the wire they used. Took an hour and a half extra to clean the blood off. He thought he was gonna die between the wire being put in and them making him wait two hours for the surgery— Facelle never acted kind, interested, apologetic, caring— he was a total cold fish. The patient was in his 70s, and he feels Facelie & company could’ve killed him. For Facelle it seemed to be “Business as usual.”

Wonderful bedside manner and listens better than any physician I have encountered in many years. He does not seem to stop until a solution is reached and remembers everything about you. I am in great hands. Fantastic office staff as well.

Found the problem that a previous doctor missed. Probably saved my kidney.

Worst dr ever.Put in a kidney stent few weeks ago, had sever complications and in pain and , told him after i got out from the hospital, no help at all. Bad infection etc..Called him and he said "i'll take it out, pay me 300 cash or i can sedate u 2000 dollars cash. Even accused me of wanting narcotics when i had the strong morfin medicin and told him they don't work. Missed the first appointment, rescheduled and paid 150 at the desk. So he basically tried to rob me on top of that.. DON'T GO

excellent dr. very caring and kind

I went to Dr. Facelle for a vasectomy and skin tag removal. He and his staff were very nice and very professional. During my procedure, he and the nurse talked to me the entire time to keep my mind off the procedure. 0 pain and I was in and out in 45min. I will definitely return for any other future treatment needs.

Was told that I had an STD and even after insisting that that could not be the case, he said with confidence that was the root of my issue. After a difficult conversation with my wife, and is both knowing that could not be the case, his assistant called a few days later to confirm what I already knew. A complete waste of money and time. He could have at least taken 5 minutes out of his day to call and apologize for making a mistake. Don't waste your money. Go to someone with some experience.
