Dr. Thomas Eustis, MD

Terrible bedside manner. Told my sister who is 7 week post-partum that she was morbidly obese (She is 5'2 and 200 lbs) and should take better care of her self when she had to have her gallbladder removed. He fussed at her for refusing blood thinners instead of explaining why he thought she needed them before having surgery. His overall bedside manner was rude, condesending, and not very compassionate to his patient. She was anxious and in severe pain and his attitude was not necessary.

As another posted my husband was very very sick and for the first time we ended up in the ER and after being told he was going to be admitted and under a surgeon naturally I became very worried. I was given the name Dr Thomas Eustis and began looking on-line to see what I could find, what I read was impressive. Before we had time to digest what was happening my husband needed surgery, and fast. Dr Eustis made us feel like he was operating on his own family member, so kind, patient, and most of all talented and a patient advocate all the way!! Both of us are retired RN’s We do not say that about many medical personnel. Not only did he save my husbands life, he did it all via Laparoscope, very late on a Saturday night, never once complaining. Not only did he save his life, he avoided a longer hospital stay and recovery. We highly recommend Dr Eustis and wouldn’t use anyone else!

Awful

Dr. Eustis described perfectly what to expect from my surgery and recovery. During the consultation, he laid out every viable option, described the risks associated with each, and offered his personal insight and recommendation before letting me ultimately decide for myself. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I found myself in a situation of going straight to the hospital for surgery. I have never had surgery, a hospital stay, or a chance to find a doctor. I met Dr. Eustis at the hospital and he explained everything in detail, and with patience and care. Within minutes I felt like my husband and I were talking to an old family friend. Dr. Eustis did an amazing surgical job and I am so grateful to him.

I immediately felt very comfortable & confident with speaking & meeting Dr. Eustis. The information that he provided to me made the process extremely easy both prior & post surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Eustis!!
