Would NOT recommend
I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Doty to anyone. He overcharges and adds little to no value to appointments. He made quite a few problematic & controversial comments at my appointment. Terrible guy, don’t give him or the practice your money.

Caring physician
I’ve seen Dr. Doty for my health issues for several years now. He’s very interested in providing me with the information that I need to stay healthy. He’s gone above what other doctors have done. I appreciate his support.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Doty listened to me and my concerns, before he started discussing my issues. He is thorough, kind and compassionate, and a very knowledgeable physician. Others may not like him being blunt sometimes, but it is for our own good. He is not there to coddle us when we do not stick to our diets like we should. He cares about his patients and wants them to succeed in managing whatever your ailment may be. Two thumbs up!

I was referred to him. It took 8 weeks and 5 phone calls. They said he would have to review my chart. Finally, after 8 weeks they called and said he couldn’t see me and asked if I wanted to see someone else in their group. I said no. Very poor patient management. I am a health care provider but I didn’t let any of them know. Endocrinology is not a wait 8 weeks and we will see type subspecialty.

Dr Doty has been a blessing for us in treating my sons brain tumor . He is compassionate yet completely upfront . His office staff has been easy to get a hold of and call back right away . Would highly recommend for all endocrine needs . They draw your labs and have ready to discuss at appointment .

Unfortunately, he made several comments that were unnecessary. I have gained weight since having spinal fusion surgery for a slipped vertebra from a car accident. He commented that, "you should have your butt kicked" and "maybe you should just stop eating", which were very rude comments. I guess he was trying to be funny but it was unnecessary. I brought up the weight gain myself because I was trying to figure out what to do. I am a type 1 diabetic on the pump because I make no insulin of my own and I also have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. These conditions are lifelong and living with them is no fun. This is the last male endocrinologist I ever visit. I now have a female endocrinologist who was appalled at those comments and who has been very supportive and helping me to reach my goals.

I've been with Dr. Doty about 10 years and I don't want to have any other doctor than him. I'm a vet and could get my care for free but I prefer him do to the comfort level and confidence I have in him.
