Rude and unprofessional
I called him days after the birth of my first with super heavy bleeding and clotting (the kind they say to call about). He told me that I was a first time mom and that what I was experiencing was normal. He offered a drug to close my cervix. I ended up hemorrhaging at my son’s well visit the next day and had to go to the ER. I ended up with retained placenta and an infection. He was on call at the hospital and made a joke of the situation. He didn’t explain anything very well to my husband after the procedure. My breastfeeding journey suffered as I sat in a hospital for a whole day and a half without pumping or feeding my newborn who was back home with my in laws and he was ready to joke about it. He is awful.

Avoid
Unprepared for our visit - had not read notes from MFM visit. Callous and condescending. Unresponsive to follow up.

Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible- I lost a pregnancy at 16 weeks and when asking how I could handle the miscarriage he responded “WELL THERES MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SKIN A CAT”. Absolutely horrifying. Luckily I handled everything at a different hospital with my OB since Dr.D offered me to come back later that week (risking infection or death miscarrying at home). My baby was born two hours later. I was already going into labor… He seemed more interested in impressing me and my sister than actually empathizing or spending time with me explaining my options during my stay in the ER.

Awesome Dr. I have been with him for over 10yrs. Always friendly and puts you at ease. Professional and helpful. Once had an abnormality that needed to be checked and he was super quick in getting back to me with the news that everything was ok which I really appreciated.
