Dr. Thomas Croley, MD

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Thomas Croley, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I opted for multifocal lenses, and now my vision is fantastic. Everything from reading to driving is so much clearer. Dr. Croley made the entire process comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend him to anyone considering cataract surgery!

I recently had eyelid surgery, and I’m so glad I did! My vision has improved, and people are commenting on how much more youthful and alert I look. The recovery went really well, with only a bit of swelling, and it’s been just a month. The entire team is amazing—super friendly and supportive. If you’re thinking about this kind of surgery, I highly recommend them!

The staff restored my faith in humanity! I couldn't have asked for any other staff that could do better. Dr Croley during an eye exam told me to go to the ER. I did and found that I had a carotid artery 90 percent blocked. Had Dr Croley not sent me to the ER I wouldn't be here! This group of people are A list to me and in my heart. I had an amazing experience at Dr. Croley's office for my laser vision correction procedure. The staff was welcoming and professional, and Dr. Croley's expertise and confidence put me at ease. He thoroughly explained the procedure, answered all my questions, and ensured a smooth recovery. The results have been life-changing, and I can't recommend Dr. Croley and his team highly enough. If you need eye care, this is the place to go!

Saw Dr. Crolely for new patient visit. No mention was made of his findings of macular degeneration. A few weeks later made a follow-up for a new situation. The technician informed me that macular degeneration was seen on my first visit. The technician nor nurse were not overly concerned that the doctor did not inform me of this condition!! I would NEVER go back to him!!

Dr. Croley has a lot to learn about patient issues and care. He is not a congenial person. There are many eye physicians that are soooo much better than him!

The staff is great, always friendly and helpful. The doctor is reputed to be very good at his profession, however, he does only the minimum possible with regard to communication. I have stayed with him for many years because he is supposed to be a great doctor, but he has done nothing but make me feel frustrated for lack of knowing my condition and prognosis.

From the moment I walked in the door, the staff treated me like family. Dr. Croley did my eye surgery and my vision is perfect. I have always worn glasses and now I can see without my glasses. Thank you Dr. Croley and the staff @ Central Florida Eye Institute. I can see again!!!

He lacks empathy and the ability to effectively communicate with a patient. You can NOT speak to him and the only his staff will communicate with you. He evaluated my husband in an acute situation without ever looking at his previous treatment for the same problem. Do yourself a favor and see someone else.

I scheduled office visit to flush blocked tear duct. Dr Croley said I was just experiencing dry eyes. I was diagnosed with chronic dry eyes already 13 years ago. I was quite certain that my duct was plugged but he refused to flush and clear it. Told me to use more moisture drops every day. Charged me $120 for office visit. I went to a different eye doctor and they flushed it open. Problem of excess tearing solved. Dr Croley has bad doctor/patient manners. Uncaring and rude.

All staff in office are great very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr Croley was great and was sure my husband understood everything that was going to happen as he has some dementia and is hard of hearing.

Staff was very nice but Dr. Croley is horrible. No side matters to patient. Had an appointment with mother today, doctor never acknowledged me when I asked question never look at me, made me feel like I asked a stupid question. Came in room for 2 minutes and mumble words and asked 2x to repeat himself because I didn't understand him. This person needs to go back to school and learn manners.

My experience with Dr. Croley's office and staff has been excellent. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good eye doctor. Thank you for being a caring doctor.

Going into my multifocal lense exchange, I was nervous and had reviewed all of my Facility/Dr. options..over and over. and over. Well, I cannot say enough about how super Dr. Croley and his whole staff took care of me with my procedure. They were great from the very first bit of information given to me, all the way through my post visits....The staff is friendly, sincere, and professional. The flow at the office is just welcoming and each department works so wonderful with the next. The office is comfortable and super clean. Dr. Croley is a wonderfully, unique professional, who genuinely wants you to be satisfied with your procedure at his institute, and this shows through all of the super attentive and warm staff. Thank you to you all, I have never been so happy with the way I was treated with a medical procedure as I am with this!

From the minute I walked into the facility I knew this was the eyecare I have been looking for in the Ocala area. With each procedure and each professional I experienced, it only verified my special needs were going to be met. The patience, knowledge, and thoroughness of everyone and every step was very reassuring - to someone who has been looking for over two years. Thank you, Dr. Croley, for building one of the most professional eyecare facilities I’ve had the privilege of being a patient!

Dr. Crowley was recommended time by a personal friend. He a a competent doctor. However, he does not have a good bedside manner in my opinion. He borders on being insensitive. If a compassionate doctor is not important to you he is your man.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Croley after an incident I had encountered while doing yard work. Without hesitation this FANTASTIC Institute, a place that I had never been to before took me in right away. From the moment I walked into the office the entire staff was simply AMAZING! They all were so MARVELOUS, made me feel so comfortable, at ease. Dr. Croley is FABULOUS, within minutes he was done, he is so AWESOME! Dr. Croley is EXCELLENT, with an OUTSTANDING, SPECTULAR staff.

I've never seen such a well run staff as I have in this Dr office. Everyone was efficient and friendly without exception. Dr. Crowley was knowlegable and helpful in dealing with my sudden eye problem. They got me in right away. I really felt taken care of.

Dr. Croley did my cataract surgery with multifocal IOL this summer. Best decision I ever made! He thoroughly explained the benefits and risks of the procedure and answered ALL my many questions. From start to finish this office made me feel important and cared for. I'm presently seeing 20/20 which is amazing since I was 20/200 before my surgery!
