went with close friend to emergency room dr. carter was dr. there. he refused to treat her pain saying it would be malpractice. when later admitted to hospital she was given pain relieving drugs. he also blamed the patient for her condition. I would not wish this experience on anyone

On two separate occasions, I have gone to Dr. Carter with complaints of a concussion, and both times he ignored the head injury and instead performed various tests that were almost completely unrelated. During my second head trauma based visit, he ignored me telling him three times that I had hit my head and suspected I might have a concussion, and after three hours in the emergency room and chest x-ray, he asked if I had recently fallen and hit my head, as his staff reported concussion symptoms

Dr. Carter is rude and does not appear to know what he is talking about. He is not afraid to discuss your reason for visiting the emergency room loudly enough for the whole department and all the other patients to hear. He also ignores your medical history when determining what is wrong with you, and will take medical custody of your children even when child services does not see reason for the parents to lose custody. He doesn't acknowledge your reason for visiting and instead does ransom tests
