Dr. Burgess walked in and was very distant and flat in his tone. Didn't examine me, only glanced at my MRI imaging notes and immediately minimized my injury as only being 'small', but he magically could see my pain was severe enough to schedule an injection within a week. Even his scheduling coordinator said he never overbooked his procedures 'so he must see that you're in a lot of pain'(her words)Even still, he only prescribed 1 week's worth of meds on an 'as-needed' basis. He prescribed a month's worth of muscle relaxers, but only a week for pain. If you've ever experienced a herniated disk then you understand. When I called to inquire about the quantity, I was then dismissed again and told it was an issue with my insurance and their policy for prescribing pain medication. Of course, I called the insurance company and that was absolutely NOT the case. They(Dr. Burgess' office) brushed me off AGAIN!!See ANY other doctor but him. Give yourself a chance at real care & compassion

Horrible experience
Really thought I was at the right place and right doctor. They tell me they will do the disectomy surgery, then never heard back. One of the ladies said she was a director of the pain clinic first told me “I will call you back in an hour, never heard back from her until I called her on Tuesday. She said they are still trying to get a quote. Two weeks and no quote, no call, no text, no return calls. I thought I had a right place, but once again it’s another pain clinic that over promises and under delivered. It’s said these places have NO for their clients. The director said we don’t want to lose your business that tells me I’m a dollar sign only. As we know it’s an unpredictable world, but you would think they would want to retain you as a client, instead of allowing us to pay a couple thousand for nothing. Please read this and make your own choice, but I can only expect to see your review on here. So please understand this is my review of what and how I was treated, don’t doit. Hhhhh
