Incompetent
He did prolonged ECT treatments without discontinuing lamictal/lamotrigine which is a medication also used to treat seizures. He kept advancing intensity of ECT and reporting it to be refractory when it was because he didn't discontinue the med before beginning the treatments. It took over a year for the patient to even reduce depression and tremors caused by excessive treatments at excessive levels.
