Terrible.
Never saw Brown. Saw his associate in July to request a colonoscopy. She said no availability with any of the six or more doctors until December! Five months! She acted like a life coach. Gave me a pamphlet for a condition I've lived with for 25 years. Gave me advice my Mother got 30 years ago. Went elsewhere and all is done. Good thing I had no cancer.

Favorite Dr!!!
This is my new favorite doctor. I am not accustomed to having doctors who actually care as much as this doctor. He really wants to find what the underlying problem is that is going on. I really appreciate it is enthusiasm to figure out his patience medical mysteries and his extensive knowledge. I would give 100 stars to this doctor!

Excellent Medical Care
From my first visit with the nurse practitioner through several medical procedures done, Dr. Brown has always been very professional---but down to earth. He explained everything in detail to me in layman terms, not just medical jargon. He was concerned with my comfort level after a medical procedure and made sure I understand my at-home care. Dr. Brown is a doctor that truly connects with his patients. He wants his patients to be fully informed of any medical procedure to be done. He gives you information of what should be done, but the final decision is YOURS. No pushiness. Just facts.

Strange, all the way around
I went in for gallstones. He told me, based on oral history and no tests, that I needed to have my gallbladder removed immediately, which I did not, and told me I had to see the surgeon right away, and then he tried to coerce me into taking compounded female hormones or I was going to die early (nothing to do with my gallbladder). He ordered a CT scan for the gallbladder, but then neglected to inform me of the results. However, he did call and leave me a message that he checked with the surgeon and I hadn't made an appointment yet for gallbladder surgery. No mention of the test results. I stopped in the office to get the results and was given a serious delay runaround before I finally was given them. A year and a half later my PCP wanted me to have the CT scan repeated, and since I refused to see Dr. Brown again, the practice sent me a certified letter telling me all the other doctors in the practice have declined to treat me. Wow. The whole practice not polite or respectful.

Poor staff and handling of new patient
I set up an appointment online for new patients which the website said the DR. is taking. The appointment was scheduled and confirmed VIA email. Days later, I get a call saying they had given the spot to another person and instead of making it right, we are not taking any patients until the end of the year. I had canceled another appointment I waited 4 weeks for because this one was made and confirmed. Now I will not have the medication I need. This is not OK. It is not my fault that they have an issue with the website and they should have made this right instead of calling and basically saying they don't care. I would give 0 stars if I could.

It’s been a couple of years since my first colonoscopy with Dr. Brown and I’m so thankful to have chosen him. A very pleasant and knowledgeable doctor who actually cares to take his time to explain everything and make you feel comfortable. Very clean and professional staff as well. Now that I look for him for another appointment I noticed I never gave him the review he deserves. Thank God for caring doctors.

I saw Dr Brown for the first time at my Colonoscopy. I had heard so much about him and what a great Dr he was, by my primary care physician. She told me “ you want to hold out to be seen by Dr Brown because he’s the best.! Not that the other doctors in the group are bad but trust me you won’t be disappointed.” I must say he is a very personable Doctor and explains things very well to you . He doesn’t rush you when he’s talking to you even though you know he’s very busy! I now am so glad Dr Brown is my Doctor . And I am very glad I waited on him instead of going with whoever was available. I trust Dr Brown and so glad he’s in my corner!!

Worst practice I have EVER come across. Once you are better and discharged from their care there is no way you can come back to them. You then have to start looking for another doctor. Also I had problems the hospital recommended them told me to see them as soon as possible so I called and got a recording. They didn’t call me back to the next day. The practice doesn’t care about their patients just about the bottom dollar. Don’t start with them. Find a practice that cares about you as a person.

I found dr. Brown to be very personable and knowledgeable about my liver disease. It is my thoughts that I found the best doctor to treat me in the Ocala area. He explained to me without hesitation how to self treat my disease. He ordered test to be performed and explain to me the results.
