Great Experience
Dr. Armstrong has been treating and monitoring my macular degeneration and narrow angle glaucoma for the past 3 years and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is patient, answers all my questions clearly, and never rushes me. I count myself fortunate to have him as my ophthalmologist.

I have used Amstrong Colt for several years for routine eye exams. Recently I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Tom Armstrong. He was wonderful. He explained the procedure fully and took whatever time was necessary to answer all my questions. The follow-ups with Dr. Kaplan were the same. No rushing you in and out, but whatever time it took to answer any questions. The staff was the same; very cooperative in scheduling things as convenient to the patient as possible. I recommend them without reservation. I had considered going to Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia but doubt I would have received the same level of personal attention.

I was never happy with my care and treatment. I have recently sought other opinions who completely disagreed with my diagnosis and treatment. One practice in New Britain categorically stated I was grossly mistreated and mismanaged. The supporting staff seems qualified and friendly.

Dr. Tom Armstrong is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. I've been cared for by him for over 25 years. He has helped me to restore my vision. He is an excellent surgeon and I cannot recommend him enough! He also has a full team of specialists working with him at his office so they can handle any vision problem (as they did with me).

I went to Armstrong Colt for many years. I usually saw George Kaplan for my exams. I had been on a prescription by the name of Plaquenil for my Rheumatoid arthritis. Despite the fact that George Kaplan was aware of this, I was never seen by retinalogist in their practice. I believe that as a result of not having been monitored for changes in my retinas, thinning occurred. I was even given the wrong field test for part of the monitoring process. Finally, George Kaplan (at my last visit I mi
