I first met Dr. Anderson after being in a crash while stock car racing . My neck had previous surgery From 11 fractures from C1 down. I was paralyzed initially from the shoulders down, but I did manage to gradually recover and get the ability to walk and stand Once again! Even with narcotic medication I was in constant pain and could not tolerate any kind of air blowing on my skin. Something as simple as a ceiling fan would cause my body to spasm and lock where I could not hardly move. I had considered stem cell and experimental surgeries. Dr. Anderson convince me by physically showing me, where my injuries were and explained in simple terms how he could relieve pressure on my spinal cord through a surgical process. The surgery was performed and it took six months before I realized it was working and after one year all those symptoms are gone and I am 1000% better. The world is fortunate to have gifted skilled people like this ….!

Professional, good bedside manners, listens without rushing, explained back MRI results and why surgery not a recommended option with numerous back complications that would require lengthy surgeries and increased risks at my age of 74 and long recuperation period required and may only improve approximately 85% so I opted out of possible surgery. He was straight forward and I appreciated that. Epidural performed.,

Dr. Anderson
I had surgery on September 2nd 2022. Dr. Anderson removed the right side hardware and scar tissue. I woke up in post-op with no hip, foot or leg pain for the first time in four years. He operated on me when three doctors said that there was nothing that they could do for me. His compassion and willingness to do surgery on me has given me my life back. I only have numbness in two toes. He explained to me that nerves heal slowly and it might take a couple of years before that goes away if it ever does. I would recommend Dr. Anderson to anyone who has back pain. His knowledge, kindness and compassion is what sets him above everyone else.

Surprised and upset about my experience
I started having back trouble 3-4 weeks ago and was in severe pain was not able to work. I went to Dr Anderson and explained the situation and from day 1 I got the impression he didn’t take me serious. Fast forward a few weeks later I finally got the MRI that was needed which I had to pay for out of pocket.. On the day I went to review with him it was a rushed appointment he didn’t listen to anything I had to say. He said oh I really thought the MRI would look worse never mind that I have a torn disc!! then he basically tells me I’m not in pain and that he wants to do an epidural on my back when I have time. He walks out of the room and does not come back.. unbelievable. He does not care in my opinion about patients if they can’t make him money. I was treated with complete disrespect and not listened to at all. Not everyone that comes into your office is a drug addict looking for pills I needed help..I am beyond frustrated…I’m a well respected professional engineer.. wow

Very good listener. Takes a cautious approach, suggesting low risk alternatives first with surgery as the last and least desired option. I appreciate his measured approach.

Dr. Anderson was very specific, direct and upfront with me about my back surgery. He did a wonderful job and I would recommend him to anyone. This surgery wasn't particulally easy but I think my experience and Dr. Anderson's skill made my recovery much faster and better than I expected. Thanks so much for Dr. Anderson

I feel he should have explained more of what could happen post surgery than he did, I probably would not have had the surgery which has left me not able to walk garden, ride a bicycle. Doctors are not God so I do not believe in suing but I am in 24/7 pain even with pain management I could not follow up with Dr. Anderson because Southeastern Spine did not accept my Medicare Insurance.
