Will walk out better than I walked in now need tot
Had a torn meniscus, he said I would walk out of the surgery better than I walked in, now I need a total knee replacement. Beside manner is awful, like an army general. Staff blamed me for the pain I was having saying “I couldn’t handle it”. Always a good idea to blame the patient. He’s no longer at Avera and BCBS sent us a letter as well. I’d like to know what else he did to cause those ties to be severed.

Poor bedside manner and aggressive with his opinions. Gives outdated and sometimes poor treatment advice. He might be a good surgeon, but take anything he says with a grain of sand and be your own advocate.

Bedside manner is awful. Will never recommend him, nor will ever see him again. Wasted visit. Arrogant and not easy to talk to or approachable.

It has been 6 months since my hip replacement and it is wonderful. No more living with pain 24/7. Avera Orthopedics/Dr. Ambrose are great.
