Dr. Thilan Fernando, MD

Hello! please read*** Dr. Fernando was supposed to give authorization for my Right Knee to get an MRI from a specialist in network. When I went into my appointment they told me me he wrote right leg and that i needed another authorization that would specify it was my knee. When the doctor read off the notes to me Dr. Fernando got 80% of the information wrong that I told him. Luckily the staff at the specialists office did the scan anyways. From my experience he does not listen to his patients and is very sloppy when it comes to paperwork. Switching doctors ASAP.

If you are overweight he will blame any and all symptoms physical or mentally on your weight. He will make you feel like you aren’t doing anything to better yourself when you have a chronic pain.

Every time I call to schedule an appt, I get a reasonable time frame. The staff is sweet. Dr. Fernando is AMAZING! I have seriously recommended him to ANYONE who has had a medical conversation with me. He is polite, thorough, efficient, and the man knows his stuff! My family goes to see him, my friends go to see him and we are all so happy with the care he provides for us.

The thing I like about him is that gives his patients time, and explains things clearly.

My experience with Dr. Fernando was above and beyond what I thought. He is very thorough and listens to what your issue is intently while at the same time is very comforting. My wait time at his facility wasn't long, his staff is friendly, everything needed is pretty much in same center, and the Dr. seemed very empathetic and reassuring. Definitely recommend him and the facility.

He is very knowledgeable and attentive. I am not sure what the other reviews are about, honestly. He is often booked up, and this is because of his popularity. He will answer as many questions you have, and he will explain it in easy terms if necessary. I highly recommend.

changing doctor due to no communication skills

Doctor Fernando is complete crap!! Every time I go to see him and ask any questions he is quick to rush me out of the office. When I describe my symptoms he is just as quick to diagnose write an expensive prescription and rush me out of the door. Dr. Fernando believes that his highest priority should be to make sure his services are available to his patients. I haven't been able to see him in 2 years!! I was recently in a car crash and I was told he was booked and couldn't be seen by him!!
