Telehealth
I scheduled a telehealth appointment after being recommended to go to one by my insurance’s nurse hotline. I have three different symptoms, and while the nurse asked me lots of follow up questions, Dr. Nophsker didn’t ask me any questions besides questions about my last menstrual cycle, which felt unrelated. He asked me, “So are you just looking to get a no for work?” This didn’t seem helpful and respectfully, I don’t need to pay $48 to excuse myself from work since I’m an adult. I could just ask for a mental health day if needed one at my workplace. I think my symptoms altogether are unusual for me, and I’ve noticed that while I experience minor symptoms when I’m sick, when I pass that sickness onto my partner and roommate, their symptoms are much more severe. The doctor finished by saying he didn’t really know what I wanted from this appointment, and I felt that I had to lead the rest of the appointment to get any recommendations, next steps, or possible diagnoses

Using my Hy app that is provided by insurance I spoke to Dr. Nophsker. He listened to what my needs were and allowed me to make the best decision for my non-emergent medical care.

I must be one of the few who never had a problem with Dr Nophsker. He was my primary care from the late 70s till he retired last year and sold his practice to the most inept company-and now I can’t find a new one who accepts Medicare. Dr Nophsker too real care of both. My elderly parents when I moved them here to Texas to be near me and he was very gracious and took them both on and gave them excellent care..they lived into their 90s. Too bad he retired.

Dr. Nophsker almost let me die. He thought I was depressed and a hypochondriac and treated me as such. There were times that he made me wait 2 or more hours even though I had an appointment. Ultimately ended up in the emergency room and found out later that my entire body was shutting down. I have a lifelong medical condition that I will have to deal with because he wouldn't pay attention or listen. As soon as I was able, I switched to a doctor that I love. She pays attention

This guy almost killed me years ago by not referring me to a specialist. Thank god I changed doctors and finally had my problem diagnosed.

Like others have stated, the Dr. Nophsker I know does not care about you as a patient. You're a number for billing purposes and little more. I believe he and his staff just want to move you in and out as soon as possible to keep the flow of patients moving steadily through their office all day long. If you're looking for a doctor that cares about you and your condition, who is willing to take the time to thoroughly examine you to find out what exactly is wrong, diagnose the issue, and come up w

Upon the cessation of disreputable, inferior medical care provided by Nophsker I discovered that his complication & patient outcome metrics are abysmal. His misdiagnosis of my glaringly obvious medical condition led to prolonged suffering. I believe his penchant for the inept, reckless disregard of my health as irrefutable evidence of subpar practices. I shall pursue all remedies to preempt suffering by others. I feel obligated to advise any in need of healthcare to avoid this man at all costs.

Dr. Nophsker is the best. He's been my primary doc for 20+ years. He cares for his patients as though they were his own family member. His bedside manner is wonderful, he never talks down to me and he never leaves our visits unless he's satisfied that I understand all diagnosis/general information. I continue to recommend him to otherws
