Dr. Theodore Doukides, MD

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Doukides and his lovely medical assistant Nancy. However, Karen from the billing dept was very rude on the phone and sent my bill to collections even after I told her I was awaiting approval of the bill from my insurance agent. I ended up having to pay an additional “collection fee” on top of the other fees which upset me even after I explained this to her SEVERAL times and had all the emails back and forth saved.

Heard him on phone prior to his coming in (After waiting in exam room for 45 minutes) Telling someone he will be late for his golf game after one more patient, I assume was me. He came in asked my problem and instead of examining me, he tells me to eat more fiber and he leaves. What a waste of time and money. OBVIOUSLY CARED MORE FOR HIS GOLF GAME THEN A PATIENT. STAY AWAY!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Prior to him coming into exam room I heard him on phone telling someone he was late for his golf game but would hurry up and be there soon-After already waiting 45 minutes in exam room, he comes in, asks my problem, doesn't even examine me, just tells me to eat more fiber-what a complete waste of my time and money-Gee I hope he was able to still make his golf game. Total UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! Don't waste your time

I went to see Dr. Doukides today for the first time & it was a great experience. He took his time listening to all my questions & answering them. Very courteous, kind and showed concern. I would highly recommend this gastroenterologist to anyone. The receptionist and medical assistant were also very nice & friendly. 2 thumbs up!!

Served no purpose. Can't even get a return call, much less a test result.

Great specialist. I was referred to this physician due to my condition. He takes his time and explained everything. The staff members especially Nancy and Karen were so nice and friendly. Made my visit easier under the circumstances I am dealing with. I would recommend this doctor any time. Thank you

Just useless. Office staff seems nice, but when it comes to knowing anything , they are just useless too. They tell you to come in to discuss, when you get there doc says they were mistaken, but they still charge you. He cares about one thing, $$$$, in the 2 dingy offices he works out of. Just a disgrace on all fronts. He really doesn't care at al about patients and untruthful to boot.

Very caring physician. He knew what needed to be done for my mother and took great care of her. The staff was great and office was nice. I would recommend all my friends to go and see him if you have any GI problems. Tammy

Stay away from this office. The office does not answer or return calls. The doctor, PA and staff either they are incompetent or lack care and compassion for patient's care. Everyone keep pointing finger to shift the blame from themselves. My pharmacy has made several attempts to reach doctor and staff for med clarification with no success. In the meantime, my daughter has been without biological med for almost 6 months and has been on prednisone. Awful place. DO NO GO THERE! Grade should be zero

He want to take to the hospital to do a pancreas puntion,causing pancreatitis with out confirming with any test the diagnosis ,I did it with other dr. And I don't have nothing

A nice enough doctor, but I found his competency marginal. A short while after having a kidney transplant, I began having diarrhea that prevented me from leaving the house at times. This went on for months. He performed a colonoscopy and stool studies, but there was no resolution. I asked for medication to treat it, but he said no, and insisted on more tests. On my own, I discovered certain foods like chocolate and onions were the cause, and eating cheddar made firm, consistent stools.
