She said our time while we needed to know what exactly was going on she misdiagnosed my kid and she said to give her some time then when we got formal diagnosis for Autism she told us if she sleeps then we don’t have issue but you may never hear her voice .amazing one month after this visit she start talking

Please be aware: Dr Nguyen misdiagnosed my daughter as not having epilepsy-- stating instead she had stress and depression. A second opinion at UVA immediately saw a lesion on the MRI that Dr Nguyen ordered and allegedly reviewed. My daughter ultimately required brain surgery. Dr. Nguyen's misdiagnosis resulted in our daughter having untreated nocturnal seizures for several months, putting her at high risk for SUDEP. As mentioned in the other reviews-- she was also rushed and not polite.

We almost had a traumatic experience with Dr Nguyen that we had to change a neurologist almost immediately. She is very dismissive, rude, condescending, and almost disrespectful. She should not be around kids at all since she has no care in the world for the kids. Please stay away from this doctor or else you will be traumatized by the experience for the foreseeable future.

She is absolutely HEARTLESS!!! Do not even waste your time taking your kid to her as she doesn't care and she brushes it off!!! Waste of our time and energy seeing Dr Nguyen! All she cares is to get you in and out and the money she makes from your visits. Anything we told her about our daughter, she didn't care and tried to just changing the subject and get us out of her office. She is nice but I dont need nice! I want someone who cares and fights for my kid and she isnt at all!! Do not waste your time since you would have to go see another neurologist somewhere else anyways. I should have listended to the reviews and not gone to her!! SMH

Dr. Nguyen rushed through our visit and did not explain to us what was going on with our baby. She blew off our concerns and questions. We were in the hospital for 24 hours and saw Dr. Nguyen for 5 minutes. She sent in a resident who was unfamiliar with our case and whom we had not met to give us the results of our EEG. If Dr. Nguyen had spent a few more minutes explaining what was going on with our baby and speaking to us as intelligent adults, we would have felt much more reassured. As it is, I do not know whether she bothered to thoroughly assess my child. I don't know if she has seen this condition before or if she put any thought into my child at all. Perhaps the hospital was busy while we were there, but a few extra minutes seems like a reasonable expectation for this type of visit. My son does have a regular neurologist so I have experienced these types of visits and issues before.
