Telehealth
I had a telehealth appt with Dr Osial, I felt he was very nice, listened to me and had asked my PCP to order some blood work. My PCP does this, gets the blood work back and sends it back to Dr Osial almost two weeks ago and I have not heard from anyone in the office, not the dr, not Stacy who works for him, no one. I called last week and was told by Stacy she is still waiting for the Dr to get back to her which I find it hard to believe that she has not heard anything back from him, so I give them another week and called today and Stacy tells me the same thing, this time I said to her that I find it hard to believe that a Dr you work for you have not heard from, I told Stacy that I will be moving on and find another Dr. It's ridiculous, someone is not doing their job, it's either Stacy or the Dr or both. That's sad because he was very nice, he seemed concerned about my issue so not sure what happened.

Disgrace to Medical care
Telehealth
Dr. Osial's approach during my appointment was disappointing. From the outset, he appeared disinterested in addressing my concerns, and his non-verbal cues, such as shaking his head, made the experience uncomfortable. I felt that my attempts to explain my symptoms were frequently interrupted, and when I did manage to express myself, my concerns were dismissed in a condescending manner. When I questioned his decision to refer me to another doctor without addressing my symptoms, his response was, 'Well, I am retired. I am just helping out.' As a young patient, it can be difficult to find healthcare providers who take my concerns seriously, and unfortunately, this appointment left me feeling unheard and dismissed. I would advise others to carefully consider whether Dr. Osial is the right fit for their care. (Here is a hint, he is not)

Should not accept new patients
I waited several months to have a video appointment. I was in terrible pain. Dr. Osial kept dismissing everything I told him in reference to my progressively worsening pain from arthritis. He told me to see an orthopedic surgeon and "save me a trip!" Not acceptable! Don't accept new patients if you aren't interested in helping them!

Time to Retire Dr. Osial
Worst doctor I've ever seen. Appointment lasted less than 10 minutes and he dismissed all issues I was having and didn't care to ask any questions. He was very rude and inaccurate.

I was sent their by my doctor because he thought something else besides my fibro was definitely going on and wanted to get new blood work done and I was refused to get any done or any new x-rays. He said because I had blood work done years ago and we already know it is fibro that there is no sense to get any done after all those years and I shouldn't worry about coming back to him again. Appointment was definitely a waste of my time. My doctors treating me were in awe.

I was hospitalized. My rheumatologist does not come to St. Margaret's. This physician was the rheumatology consultant. He definitely comes across as feeling superior. Honestly, as he left the room, I said he is welcome to write that i am faking in my chart. His opinion and consult really mean little to me. My only concern is feeling better with or without his help. He definitely makes me really appreciate my primary healthcare team. Don't settle for docs like this one.
