Dr. Wadley was dismissive and cold to me.
I went to the ER for a severe migraine headache and sinus infection, which I had already been taking antibiotics for over the past four days without any improvement. When Dr. Wadley entered the room, he was in the room for less than 5 seconds. He spoke OVER me while I was trying to explain my symptoms and history of taking antibiotics. He quickly ordered a CT scan without fully hearing my concerns and left the room. After waiting about 3 hours, the CT scan was completed. I never saw Dr. Wadley again. The nurse later came in and informed me that the doctor said I was “good to go.” I was given medication for the migraine and instructed to follow up with a neurologist. I said what about the CT scan? Oh that was normal said the NURSE. When asked to speak directly with Dr. Wadley about my concerns, I was told he SHOULD be in soon. He never came back to discuss results with me or answer any question. The nurse said to wait in the lobby. I do not recommend this doc at UTMB Clear Lake ED.
