I felt very satisfied with Dr Kim's explanation of the state of my spinal problems and the different ways they could be treated. He was infinitely patient with my questions and gave thorough and thoughtful answers to them. He showed me where the problem areas were and advised me to go with as little surgery as possible to start and exhaust all my options before going under the knife. I so appreciated his knowledge and candor. It was very different than I expected of a surgeon before meeting him.

Dr. Terrence Kim is absolutely the most amazing Dr. I've ever been treated by! He is genuine, personable, knowledgable, and I feel really listens to my questions and addresses them thoroughly. I don't feel like I am just another patient; I feel like he cares about my issue, progress and resolution. He doesn't hold himself "above" the patient in a "I'm better than you because of my degree". I feel he truly loves helping people and I'm extremely appreciative of the care I received from him today as well as every appointment over this past year following back fusion surgery last Dec.

Spinal stenosis
It has been 3 months since Dr. Kim did a laminectomy and foraminotomy on my L4-L5 stenosis, also removed a cyst that developed in the interim between Blue Cross denying the surgery (wanted me to do PT first even though everybody said can't fix this with PT) and my new insurance company, United, immediately approved it. Dr. Kim is quite simply as good as it gets. I am rapidly approaching 100%, I am guessing I will get there in about another 2 months. He is a very busy Dr and his office is very busy as well but they will give you the time you need to answer any questions or issues. I rate the overall experience 100% - you won't get a better or more professional surgeon. Very caring and concerned Dr and office personal. Thank you Dr. Kim!
