Beware of this Surgeon
I had a revision and added another level lumbar fusion a year ago . My incision opened up a couple days after i arrived home. Lost a lot of blood. Banner fixed it. Then i went in for my check up told his assistant I was in pain and numbness ect. I was injured on the job so they didn’t really want to help me after they found that out. I had a scan showed the screws were not in and the spacer - cage needs to be replaced.. I am back to square one. Need another surgery to fix Crowders mistakes . It’s a shame bc I trusted him to do his job . Do Not Let Him Touch You. He needs to go back to school. His reviews speak Volumes.

I really wouldn't
My fusion was in 2019. At first I was so grateful but then I kept having pain. I went back 4 times and felt like I was irritating everyone. I was told to have my kidneys checked, my adrenals, my GI, etc. Finally, after 3+ years of ongoing pain, turns out the screws used we're not only misplaced, but are about an inch too long and pushing into the nerve root. No wonder I had ongoing pain! I'm working with a new surgeon who said taking the screws out would be extremely dangerous because of how poorly the placement was, and that the risk is the nerve could catch on the screw and cause permanent damage. I wouldn't recommend this surgeon who not only made a huge mistake, but also refused to take responsibility for it. Oh, and the fusion didn't even take.

Office Efficiency
This office of Dr. T. Crowder is probably the most inefficient medical office I've been through. The PA did all the exam & prescribing medication. Dr. Crowder won't even say " Hi! " After the initial consultation with the PA , it was almost impossible to talk to any of the staff or leave a message. Nobody returned my calls. It seems that nobody in that office wanted to work or talk to patients after the initial consultation. This is a reflection of Dr. T. Crowder's incompetent managing of his staff and possibly in his surgical ability. I would not recommend this Dr. Crowder to my family and friends. .

It was an absolute pleasure to have had a consultation with Dr. Crowder, I received the answers I was hoping for with out the pressure to commit to something I didn't want. He also took the time to explain everything in detail and told me that I didn't need to have a fusion surgery at this point. Dr Crowder then advised me about a procedure to relieve the pain with minimally invasive surgery. So in my opinion, I would give anyone looking for a great sine doctor to contact Dr. Crowder for their consultation, here's to no more back pain!

Dr. Crowder is a Godsend! Dr. Crowder treated me with dignity, respect, and sympathy for my pain. He performed a lumbar laminectomy on me and essentially gave me my life back. I am a 71 year old man in pretty good condition and enjoy moderate hiking and various physical activities. Because of my lumbar disc problem I was unable to do any of these activities and required pain medications to get through the day, which I disliked immensely! Dr. Crowder is a humble, caring man who genuinely cared about me. When I thanked him after my surgery his response was, "I'm just a guy doing a job." Actually he is a dedicated miracle worker! Thank you Dr. Crowder!

He wasn’t as personable as I would have liked and seemed like he didn’t have time for me since I wasn’t a candidate for surgery. I had lots of questions that I didn’t even ask since he really didn’t answer my first couple thoroughly. Will not go back to him, but he was the first doctor with availability that’s why I went there.
