Dr. Terica Jackson, MD

I should have read the reviews before scheduling . Her bedside manners were terrible. Her lack of interest was evident and I could tell by her responses she wasn't listening . I thought I made a great decision finding a new PCP doctor but she was terrible. I highly DO NOT recommend her services to anyone.

This will be my third year with Dr. Jackson. Her bedside matters are soft and professional. I admired her holistic care. Her professionalism extends to my adult daughter as well. I be seeing you January 2025!!!!

I wish I had read the reviews because I wasted a day of work and my wellness visit on a doctor who was very uncaring. I’m searching for a new PCP, and after watching her video and researching her, I thought she would be the one. I prepared a list of things that I wanted to discuss. She told me everything was caused by obesity and that I needed to diet and exercise. I told her that I’d been working on that, I’ve actually lost 51 pounds on my own, but I’ve also been diagnosed with arthritis. She then says, well obesity and arthritis are why you’re in pain. No plan of treatment. No care. I had to ask for referrals to the weight management clinic even though she told me I was obese at least 10 times, like I don’t already know that. She had no compassion and no care. I will continue my search for a PCP that is willing to look beyond my weight and treat the whole patient as she claims she does. She does not!

My appointments with Dr Terica Jackson would always feel rushed. I felt as though she wasn't listening to my concerns or feelings. I was never a happy patient at the end of my appointments.

The staff was friendly but unorganized. They did not have my insurance information together which caused me not have have X-rays done. They called me to let me know whether my insurance was straightened out or not. They schedule my appointment for 6 months out.The doctor, herself, was not worth the trouble. She insisted that she could not do anything until she had gotten back my labs. She said nothing about anything in my chart and had no care to tending to my issues. I found some concerning issues in my chart that she stating we went over but did not. There was even supposed to had been a prescription called in that I knew nothing about and did not receive. I can't wait to get away from her office. She has been the worse by far for me. On the hunt for a new doctor again.

I agree with everyone that says she doesn’t listen. She doesn’t at all and she doesn’t even include you in the patient care decision making. She has you waiting forever and I really believed it was because she was not familiar with my condition but tried to act like she did which was evident she didn’t when I began asking her specific questions about my condition. If you have a complex condition, she isn’t the doctor for you. She seems to know about simple more common diseases like hypertension, flu, or diabetes but nothing beyond that. Do yourself and your insurance some money and go to someone else who will listen and has knowledge and isn’t rude as well. She became rude as I began to ask her questions that she clearly didn’t know the answer but instead of admitting it, she tried to fake it which made her look even worse as a physician. Anyone can wear a white coat, but not everyone is a true physician. I’ve seen a lot of doctors and she’s got to one of the worst.

Since 2014-2015 I had chosen to have Nurse practitioner as my primary care provider. During the period from 2016 thru 2020 I remained with the practice but i had at least 5 different NPs because they all left. I was looking for a new primary care provider who was a MD hoping it would provide some continuity of care. I was referred to Terica Jackson by my neurologist, I have MS. I saw dr Jackson a total of 3 times in person and 3 tele-visits. Except for my initial visit, she yelled at me when she spoke, told me repeatedly that she didn't have time to listen to my question or read some notes on my significant medical history and she was not truthful regarding why she wouldn't prescribe a specific med that I had been on prior to seeing her. Her communication skills were unprofessional, she either was looking at the computer screen or looking over her shoulder with her back turned when I talked to her. I sent her a MyChart message in march indicating that I no longer wished her as my MD.

This was the worst appt and doctor I've ever had. She was rushed, unorganized and not at all concerned about my issues, even with this being my 1st visit. The whole office was unorganized and not at all friendly. After waiting way beyond my appt time, I was put in a room to wait even longer. At checkout they had to call back to see when my next appt should be and we were informed I needed lab work. I sat in the waiting room for another 30-45 minutes and finally asked the receptionist if she could see how much longer it was going to be, they had forgotten me and called me to the lab within minutes. My results were posted on the pt. portal and I never received a call about any changes that may need to be made. To show her lack of concern for new pts and their issues, my next appt WAS in 6 months! I gave a 1 star rating because this wouldn't post without a star and there is no half star rating.

Dr. Terica Jackson is a great doctor. Very caring, thoughtful and she respects the patient. I would not think about going anywhere else. She allows time for questions and explains what ever is going on.

Even though she acted as though she was listening, I could tell that she didn’t hear a word that I said. This was evident in her response. I will not see her again or recommend her to my friends.

Her bed side manned is unmatchable. She makes it easy to discuss any ailment.
