Came from Florida to see her.
I was concerned at first because I was rescheduled and had limited time to get in to see Dr. Irwin before leaving Texas. One of her staff personally made sure I had an appointment with her Nurse Practitioner and another with Dr. Irwin. I was even able to have an appointment with her recommended occupational therapist. All appointments were very professional and productive. The Nurse Practitioner presented possible treatment options, and Dr. Irwin went into more depth and detail. A plan for treatment was established and the occupational therapist even found appropriate physical therapy options for me that could carry out proper care in Florida. They all went above and beyond to give me the best treatment they could. They really helped, cared, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I have already made appointments for next summer. The office staff is also amazing. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you all so much for making what could have been very uncomfortable, pleasant.

Dr Irwin gave me my life back. I was in my early 60’s and had so many issues and other doctors did not give me any hope. I was incontinent of both bladder and stool. Was wearing pads all the time and did not want to wear adult briefs. I could not have sex without discomfort. Dr Irwin suspended my bladder, repaired a cystocele and rectocele, elongated the vagina. Also did a complete vaginal rejuvenation. Put me on the right hormones and and interstim to help with the incontinence. I do my kegel exercises as she recommended. I am now continent (no more pads) and my sex life is better then it has ever been and that’s a big plus. She listens to her patients and understands what women are wanting. Thanks so much

Dr Irwin is amazing. I’ve been using her for 5+ years. She’s always been patient and understanding. She cares about her patients and thinks outside the box to help her patients feel 100%. Her office is impeccable, always clean, always smells good. Her staff is always nice and willing to help. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. If she has a wait, it is truly worth it.

I would love to write about my visit but unfortunately I couldn't seem to get an appointment after trying for a week. I used the website to request an appointment but got no response, I then called and was told they required a referral from my primary care Dr. I called they said they faxed. Dr. Irwin's office said they didn't have it I called my Dr. they faxed still Dr. Irwin's office didn't have it. 4th day I called again and was told they still didn't have it and I verified the fax # again. My Primary office faxed it with me on the line in the afternoon. I waited and called today and was told they still didn't have it and I would be called when they get it . I said I had been trying for a week to get an appointment she repeated that they didn't have the referral and would call when received. I am going back to my Urogynecologist at the University Medical center. I am sure the drive that I was trying to avoid will be easier than trying to get an appointment with Dr. Irwin.

Today I met what I thought impossible: a doctor who sat NEXT to me, looked at me in the eye, listened to my medical concerns with obvious empathy, and advised me with knowledge and kindness. Dr. Teresa Irwin is a shining star in my unfortunate experience of medical mediocrity. This beautiful doctor exudes confidence while remaining humble and goes the extra mile to satisfy/relieve suffering patients. I thank her for her service and I recommend her with total and absolute confidence to anyone

Dr. Irwin has taken care of me for nearly ten years, has always been very supportive, listened carefully and worked together with me to decide on what was best for my health. She has performed successful DaVinci method surgeries, exploratory procedures and crucial lab work that I have requested. I would highly recommend her as a woman very knowledgeable in state-of-the-art medicine, serving with consistent professionalism and an excellent bedside manner.

I felt Dr Irwin was personable but not particularly chatty. However, not long after her having placed a neurostimulator in my bladder, her practice sent letters saying she was no longer taking patients with my insurance! I called her office and asked what am i to do now? "Oh, any doctor can help you."?? I had no paperwork on the unit, or my surgery. They were going to charge me for copies of that paperwork too ! None of this did I consider professional.

Told repeatedly how busy and successful and detail oriented the doctor was by staff.Detailed history taken, much of which was already submitted in the new patient paperwork. Dr. Irwin was professional but not particularly warm. My mother said it was the most painful pelvic exam she had ever had and that Dr. Irwin was not at all gentle.Medicare insurance not submitted to lab. Hormone cream prescribed in spite of history as breast cancer patient. Dr. Irwin said not to worry about it.

My elderly Mother was worked in on an urgent basis and although the procedure was unpleasant, everyone was extremely kind and compassionate.
