Dr. Teresa Hilliard, DPM

I recently had surgery on my leg and foot. A Podiatrist (Dr. Hilliard) had amputated one of my toes. I did not receive any follow up visits even after repeated calls. I had a massive black scab grow over the amputated toe. Eventually it took another doctor texting her that I finally got an appointment. I received no pain prescriptions nor anti-biotic for the black scab that had grown even after weeks of trying to contact her. It turned out to be gangrene. She tried to prescribing pain medication, but her license had expired. I then decided on seeing a different Dr. who immediately put me on an anti-biotic for gangrene. but it was too late. It has been a long painful and emotional process in getting this resolved in which I won't ever be physically or emotionally the same.

Had a nail sample taken for lab work, which was never sent in. The bill certainly was sent and my insurance paid, as did I. After complaining numerous times, I finally went back in and asked them take another sample. Once again, no follow up, probably because they never sent that one in, either. I am calling my insurance company to complain about this unprofessionalism.

First time my visit was very efficient and knowledgeable. She really took care of my wound and feet. High five to the doctor
