Dr. Tejas Mehta, MD

We consulted Dr. Mehta few times for my daughter and we had the worst experience. I highly doubt his integrity. He is the most dishonest doctor I have ever seen. He somehow wanted to keep my daughter on NG tube so we have to visit him and his income remain continue. My daughter heathy when she was born but after 6 months she was having episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. They couldn’t diagnose the issue and kept ordering one after another tests. They put NG tube in her to feed her without having a plan to remove it. They never wanted to remove it because it was a source of their income. He kept scaring us with all kinds of things when we asked to remove that NG tube. Dr. Mehta told us that if you remove the tube it will affect her brain development and she will have all kinds of deficiencies and she may not survive. Turn out our daughter managed to pull the tube on her own twice in two months. Second time when she pulled the tube out we never put it back. Her weight dropped for a week but then she started eating outside food and also started breastfeeding again. And her growth increased. She is completely healthy, fit and very active. She is smarter than average kid says her new Pediatrician. Thank god that we never consulted Dr. Mehta again. He is very dishonest, money minded, unprofessional, mercy-less doctor. If you want your own good then do not consult him. I’m writing this because we went through too much hard time because of him and I don’t want anyone to go through what we went through.

Bad experience

We had real bad experience with Dr. Mehta. He performed all kind of tests on our 6 months old daughter but he couldn’t figure out the issue. He is the most dishonest Dr. we have ever seen. All he care about is how he can make money out of his patients. He has no mercy. He will use you as a medium of his income and he will not care about how you get well soon. He has no plans when he starts the treatment. All his plans works for him and not for his patients. I wouldn’t consult him even if he is the last doctor on the planet. You will be in more danger with his consultation than consulting him. Stay away from this person.

Dr. Tejas Mehta is a cannibals. He is expert in wrong doings. He must STOP that. We don't have many doctors in this country which is why composite boards do not take actions against such cannibals. He wrongfully prescribes medicines and formulas to little babies who cannot speak to express their conditions. They don't really need such medicines. My baby was seen by him and after we stopped seeing him and following his directions my baby started doing better without any medication or prescription formula. Every other person working with him is also part of his scam and committing a big sin. This must stop! Little kids and babies cannot describe their conditions and he takes advantage of such things.

Dr. Mehta is great. He quickly helped us diagnose our daughters condition and helped her get it under control. I appreciate it that him and his team are always available to answer questions on the portal. As a parent that gives me a lot of peace of mind. He is always really patient, doesn't make me feel rushed and takes his time to answer all my questions during our in person visits.

Dr. Mehta helped us figure out how to treat my daughter's tummy issues. He answered all of our questions.

Very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. Very thorough and asked lots of questions. Didn't rush through the consultation. Definitely recommend.

He is a money monster who don’t care about his patients.

Dr. Mehta was pleasant, easy to talk to, thorough and my son always said he is so nice. I felt he listened to my concerns and explained everything that we could understand it. Even at CHOA he went through everything and listened to our questions. I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience! The office staff was always very polite.

Dr. Mehta has always took good care of my granddaughter since the first day we met him. After my Granddaughter's surgery and her stay in the hospital she has been able to live a normal 5 years old life with any more stomach issues. Thank you again to all of Dr. Mehta office in Lawrenceville ga!!

Dr. Mehta was so kind and had a great bedside manner. Our appointment did not feel rushed and he spent a lot of time really listening to my concerns as a parent.

I was thoroughly pleased with my visit. I arrived on the wrong day and the front staff understood my dismay and kindly worked me in. The staff was incredibly kind and Dr. Mehta took his time in explaining my infant's situation and diagnosis. It was the best possible experience! Highly recommend him and his practice!

My daughter saw Dr. Mehta & he was excellent. He thoroughly answered all of our questions & then some. He is working very hard to help her feel better.

Apart from being an excellent doctor, he is a great human being and especially children feel comfortable and happy with him.

My child saw Dr. Mehta ending of 2020, before the holidays. In my opinion, Dr. Mehta was patient. We did not feel rushed. And we left the appt. with a sense that he cared about my childs symptoms and wanted to help get my child back to great health. End of 2020 (because of c-19) was difficult with health appointments. But Dr. Mehta was open to every form of communication (virtual, phone, in person) as long as it meant providing us with the best care and positively changing results. Only thing-lab results were a little difficult to understand. Effort of a more thorough explanation would have been appreciated.

Dr. Mehta was punctual, friendly, and patient. He took the time to listen to my concerns (I was a bit frantic as my son had recently been diagnosed with Crohns). He was also very personable, and made my son feel comfortable.

Dr. Mehta saw our daughter recently and we were amazed at his thoroughness and bedside manner. He took his time, explained everything, and you could tell he genuinely cares. We planned on switching our daughter to a closer office (within the same group) after her initial visit, but afterward, we decided we’d continue to drive 45min to Dr. Mehta’s office because we were so happy with his standard of care. Five Stars!!

Wonderful, just wonderful! Dr Mehta is so patient and compassionate. Really took time with my son to understand his needs. Extremely thorough and informative. I would HIGHLY recommend him as a Physician as well as the practice.

Dr Mehta is always very thorough and kind with our son.
