Awful
I have to wonder why this woman became a doctor. Her overall attitude is horrible. She can't wait to be done with a patient. Clearly, it's all about money with her.

Absolutely horrible. After struggling with weight issues for years, as well as many other symptoms of thyroid disease I asked Dr. Joseph to test my thyroid because of these symptoms and a family history of thyroid problems. I was told no and was told that all of my issues came down to “poor weight management”. I went against her orders and saw a specialist who found a precancerous tumor on my thyroid that was causing all of my issues. Had it gone untreated much longer, the cancer would develop further and it would have made me extremely sick. Dr. Joseph ignored my concerns and didn’t take me seriously because I am overweight. She should not be practicing medicine.

Dr Teena Joseph took care of my Mother. She never felt comfortable with her but did not want to change doctors due to her many health problems. My mother was suicidal at one point and she did Nothing but give her meds at next visit. In February 2019 my mother became very sick. She took one look at her and told her to to ER. I asked if she could please direct admit her. Her answer was No. We sat in ER for hours. My mother was in the hospital for 30 days when I applied for FMLA her nurse called and told me since I was upset at her last visit 30 days ago. She was discontinuing my mothers care. It was a crushing blow. My mother came home on hospice and died 2 days later. I was never disrespectful to this woman and my mother definitely was not. The office even called my father to see if I or him took her to appointments. The point was my mother was dying and I wanted to be there with her and secure my job. She really needs to research FMLA. You do not get paid for FMLA.

She is nice enough, but I didn't appreciate the treatment I've gotten there. I had a false pregnancy result. Instead of asking me what I wanted to do, which admittedly I didn't know, she and her staff immediately assumed I'd want to have a baby at the age of 42 and single. They leaped into next steps. I find that very inappropriate. She also didn't follow up on a separate test I had. Never felt good there.

Dr. Joseph hurries through appointments. During my recent physical, she did not complete my exam. She did not do the breast exam, nor attach a note to my file to have a mammogram scheduled. She does not answer questions and is often brusque or even dismissive in responding to them; she appears to feel challenged by questions. I am not treated as an individual, but rather as a collection of symptoms. I feel like I am on an assembly line and that she puts on her part and sends me on my way.

Dr. Joseph only spent 3 minutes with me in which briefly explained I was experiencing mental distress. Without going into detail about symptoms or the length of time I experienced them, she gave me a prescription. I also made it clear that I do not like to take medication. She did not give me the time to explain my concerns nor do I feel she had enough time to make an accurate diagnosis and select an appropriate treatment. I felt worse after I left than before I came in. It was a waste of time.
