Dr. Mertz is wonderful. I have been seeing him for primary care for several years and I feel a real partnership with him on my medical care. I have had many medical issues and am so happy to have Dr. Mertz with oversight on all my conditions. I would not go to any other primary care doctor!

I shared a health concern with the doctor and he was very prompt in checking it for me and getting me an ultrasound. I had previously shared this health concern with another doctor from another hospital and it was brushed off and ignored and not looked into. I feel very good about this doctor that he will take things seriously and be very proactive to make sure it's taken care of.

First time meeting this doctor. He was kind, listened, and explained in a way that I really appreciated. I felt like he actually looked over things and though he could do much, he still had me do some labs just to be sure I was okay. It was actually refreshing to not feel like I was wasting their time.

Spent more than the appropriate time with me in the office.( American journal of medicine recommended doctors spend at least 15 minutes per patient.) Maby 30 minutes with me. He listened very well. Answered my questions as clear as day without having to as him to speak in English.Diagnosed me, medicated me and hit the nail on the head. Thanks doc.I feel so much better now.

My mother and father were recently seen by Dr. Mertz. They have each had a long history of medical diagnosis'. My father was relieved to see that Dr. Mertz was looking at their overall health and wanted to also focus on preventative care. They are pleased to have Dr. Mertz as their primary MD.
