Dr. Tara Wiebe, MD

I started under Dr. Wiebe's care at 12 weeks pregnant after we graduated from the IVF clinic. Throughout my entire pregnancy, Dr. Wiebe listened to my concerns, answered thousands of questions, and shared her excitement for this baby every appointment. Dr. Wiebe also delivered my son via unplanned C-section and was so happy for us and showed genuine concern for both myself and my baby.

I find it interesting that Dr. Wiebe claims to treat conditions of pregnancy and delivery as well as abnormal bleeding issues. I suffered a primary and secondary postpartum hemorrhage while under her care and practically had to beg her to follow up to make sure everything is looking ok now via ultrasound and MRI. We saw abnormal findings in both the ultrasound and MRI, and I have been bleeding for over two months now. She has done nothing for me other than refer me to the same MFM twice. The MFM stated both times that they only treat pregnant women, not post delivery issues, and they cannot help me. Unfortunate for me that I almost died and this is the level of care and concern I am getting when even she herself has admitted there is still something abnormal causing me to continue bleeding but that she doesn't feel comfortable treating me herself.

I won't be going back and I wish I had never sent my teenage daughter to see Dr Weibe. United Health Care birth control states $0 out of pocket. The first visit was $168, because she is a teenager is the reason I got for this 3 minute consolation where her options were not discussed. The IUD insertion cost $500, radiology cost, and the follow-up cost $116 because billing will not change the code to what UHC says it should be. Too expensive, multiple phone calls, nothing I can do but pay it.

I went into my 32 weeks appointment with Dr.Wiebe for my first time at Parker Adventist after switching from kaiser and she gave me nothing but excellent help. She made me and my husband feel very comfortable with her and we are beyond excited to have her as our new OBGYN and can not wait for her to deliver our daughter.

Dr. Wiebe has been my doctor for 6 years now. She listens, she cares and she really takes the time with her patients. She is the only reason I come to this practice.
