I have been a patient of Dr. Ray's and Laura's since 2012, from the ages of 19 to now 31. They have helped me so much, and Dr. Ray worked with me to find the right combination of Rx's for me. They have always been kind and understanding. Something to remember is that an Rx alone will not solve your problems - you have to process those difficult emotions and work on healing as well. I'm not sure what happened in some of the negative reviews, but just remember that there are always two sides to every story and we can't make a judgment without knowing all the facts. However, I know that my experience has been excellent. That's my two-cents.

Not good with Veterans
Edit to add: I filed a complain with the Osteopathic Medicine which just basically called her and believed her. I will upload the documents when I get a chance; however, she clearly stated medicine is not good without therapy. Which is correct EXCEPT she didn’t provide therapy to me. I had a counselor at the Vet Center and I was leaving her practice and I needed a bridge to VA healthcare.I will be addressing this with the Board again and uploading all relevant documents here, so that others that may be considering her as a psychiatrist can make the most informed decision for themselves.Edit to add: I still cannot get medication because this person never sent my records to anyone when I requested that at the end of January. It has been well over 30 days. I had an appointment today with the VA and they told me because she had not done what was requested, they cannot refill my prescription unless I drive over an hour to Huntington OR got to a local ER. She just moved offices and I wou

This doctor runs a pill mill. I went to her years ago and she asked me what I wanted to be on. I was 19 and thought it was odd and asked what she suggested, we went on with the appointment. I quit seeing her after the 2nd appointment when the office was charging me to pick up my script not the medicine just the prescription (in addition to my co-pay) I also recently learned that she did the same to another person but their intent was to get access to narcotics as such, this person ended up in rehab within 8 months. This office needs to be investigated.

I was Dr. Ray’s patient in 2013. I was hospitalized at Thomas Memorial in the psychiatric unit. While in the hospital, this so called doctor informed me that she could no longer treat me and was discontinuing me as a patient because I had not followed her advice. That advice was to either quit my job of 21 years or step down to a lower position. I assume she thought this was the best way to alleviate my stress level. What kind of “doctor” tells their patient during that patient’s most vulnerable time (in a psychiatric hospital), that she can no longer have them as a patient?! The remainder of my stay in the hospital was worsened because I had to try to find a new doctor. She was not a compassionate doctor and I would not recommend her.

It’s obvious they staff is only there for the money. They rush their appointments and are always running behind. My last appointment I arrived on time and didn’t get in until 10 minutes after my appointment time. I didn’t even get an hour out of my session, I was the last patient of the day so they were ready to leave. I am very disappointed in the services I received from the staff in the office. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Ray’s services to anyone.

I was discharged as a patient after seeing Dr. Ray for approximately 5 years. Because my family ran into some hard times I was unable to afford the copays and had to forgo my treatment. I have had serveral sucidal episodes in the past and had tried twice within the last year to be scheduled but was always told it would be 3-4 months to get me in. Finally I was able to realize I needed help before things got really bad and was told that I would no longer be seen there.

Dr Rey is wonderful she is understanding and thoughtful. I never feel like a number she knows me knows my situation and honestly cares. I have found very few health care providers with this degree of caring. I recommend her to all my friends and family.
