Didn't introduce herself and didn't call me by name. Doesn't like questions. Seemed a bit impatient. I changed doctors after meeting with her.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Wiese?
Oops. My first and only consultation with Dr Tanya Wiese was to review the results of a low-dose computerized tomography (LDCT) lung scan recommended for older ex-smokers. Based solely on her interpretation of this scan, she flat out told me [without qualifiers such as “It looks like...” or “It's possible ...” ] that I had stage 4, inoperable lung cancer. Her conclusion was devastating, premature and irresponsible. A second opinion revealed I do NOT have lung cancer, but a very treatable lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. I am in treatment with an excellent chance of long term symptom-free remission. I could tell you more, but trust that I would chose a two-dollar-a-minute phone psychic over Dr. Wiese for healthcare advice.
