Is not a good communicator, aggressive, dismissive & rude. After my niece was told the she would be discharged & her child would have to remain in the hospital. Questions arised as to why. When the doctor was called back to the room to EXPLAIN why she came in and said, I heard you told your family I didn't TELL you"why the baby was staying. The specific test, results, purpose or causes were not EXPLAINED. My niece was just told her newborn will have to stay a few days for further testing. She called me & had to google Coombs positive, bilirubin and jaundice to get further understanding. Upon coming to the room she was defensive, argumentative, instead of apologetic or sympathetic. She attempted to give a VERY watery summary of the bilirubin test without lab ranges. As a 8 year critical care nurse and healthcare worker with 20+ years of experience I was horrified and disgusted to say the least. I WOULD NEVER SEEK CARE w/ HER
