Did not speak as to what she was doing
The procedure i had was one I have gotten for over 20 years and never have I had an anesthesiologist who did not tell me what she was doing and when she was going to administer the anesthesia. Ms. Steen did not. She put an oxygen mask on me, which has never been done with the prior procedures, so I was waiting for them to ask me to lay on my side and put the mouthpiece in me. That did not happen and I was never told when the anesthesia was being administered. It was very upsetting later on when I realized this and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I will not be having her in my following procedure that is for sure.

Dr. Steen is an excellent anesthesiologist. She did a wonderful job dealing with my out of the ordinary circumstances. Highly recommended. Of note, the servicesI received were in Virginia.
