Dr. Taiwo Ngwa, MD

This so-called Doctor Who is so full of himself came in my room before my colonoscopy and said to me do you know that you’ve had three colonoscopies since 2014. Then he asked me hasanyone in your family had colon cancer. I said yes my father he said how old was he when he was diagnosed he said 74. He said do you know that you’re supposed to have one every 10 Years you’ve been having them every five years. I said well my first one was when I was 55 after my dad died that was an appropriate one because it was my first one, he said that’s not what I’m talking about. He said do you realize that you’ve had one every five years after that and that’s not what the guidelines say? I said my physicians order them because my dad had colon cancer and died from it. He said I don’t find in any of your notes from any of your doctors that your father had colon cancer. He said it’s not your fault that your physician orders it. I think they ordered it so they can sleep better at night. Unbelievable.

Single worst provider I've ever experienced. Who presented what appeared to be a prepared speech concerning my condition.After he was finished I tried to ask two questions and he said I already covered that. Apparently he does not want to be questioned.he cut me off two or three times when I was inquiring about stuff or trying to make a statement.he is very arrogant and I believe that can be dangerous to his patients I agree with the review that stated this doctor as a strong contender for the 'Worst Doctor Ever' award.

Dr. Taiwo Ngwa was an excellent doctor and I was pleased to have him as my GI doctor. He was kind, warm, and generous with his time as he explained the test results to me in plain-clear language. Regarding the procedure itself, I was given a medicine that did not allow me to remember it, definetly a good thing.

Dr Ngwa spent a lot of time with me both in person and over the phone. He seemed to genuinely care about me and explained ways in which I could cut back on my medications based on lifestyle and eating habits, which I appreciated. He went over my diet with me and explained improvements I could make to help my illness. I found Dr Ngwa to be knowledgeable, kind, and extremely caring.

Went to Dr. Ngwa for a colonoscopy and found him to be very knowledgeable and explained the procedure and what to expect very well as the procedure went very well for it being my first. Had a history of family Polyps which were found and being diagnosed. I would recommend Dr. Ngwa moving forward.

He is funny, sharp and direct. Like him so far.

My mom has a LONG history of GI issues, Dr. Ngwa spent over an hour taking her history, asking questions, writing copious notes. He ordered diagnostic testing to rule out specific issues. After 6 months under his treatment, and numerous tests, my mom FINALLY has relief, a treatment plan, no more pain, and peace of mind. We would recommend him to EVERYONE.

My dad was very ill with a severe GI problem that caused him to be hospitalized several times. Dr Ngwa just read what a bunch of hospitalists wrote in the medical record. We begged him for some diagnostic testing. He said no but maybe the pulmonologist will test at an upcoming appointment. Why would a pulmonologist test for GI? We went to MNGI and they arranged for diagnostic testing the next day. Problem solved. He didn't have any more problems. I would never go back to Dr. Ngwa again.

Single worst provider I've ever experienced. Dr Ngwa is very, very proud to be a doctor... which he will repeat while you try to relay symptoms in vain. Even if your condition is causing numerous physical symptoms, Dr Ngo will be quick to dismiss them as anxiety... then dismiss your anxiety as another doctor's problem. The rare combination of arrogance, ignorance, laziness, stupidity, and outright dangerous lack of listening skills put this doctor as a strong contender for the 'Worst Doctor Ever' award.

Very thorough docter spends extra time with new patients and trained at mayo clinic. Very knowledgeable doctor.
