My nephew received a much needed and thorough examination. Dr. Rana was kind and very knowledgeable. We will continue seeing him for future visits.

So impressed with his attentiveness
Was impressed with his attentiveness, listening skills and the questions he asked to make sure he was understanding what I was telling him (I had a lot of symptoms)

NEGLIGENT, CARELESS
The overall apearance of the office and patient rooms is undesireable, and unsanitary. It smells & looks dirty. Inspection NEEDS to be enforced. Rana conveys poor listening skills, not paying attention to what is being said, interrupts, making assumptions, not answering questions, poor bedside manners, and people skills. I lack confidence with his care due to not communicationg. Orders test but no folow up or return call. The office shows signs of poor managerial skills. Closes the office for days at a time and patient can't leave a message. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AND SEEK CARE FROM ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST!!!

Most Definitely Not
Bedside manners are terrible, he orders the same tests over and over, and they usually have nothing to do with what's going on, he focuses on one thing that he picks and it usually has absolutely nothing to do with what you're there for and you have to remind him over and over about what tests you have and haven't had done and what medications he's written you and whether he has increased or decreased the dosage. It's insane

I had made it clear to Rana that my neuropathy was an immediate result of chemotherapy in 2013. Upon my second visit he asked if I drank? I said yes a few beers most days. He said that’s why you have neuropathy. I asked if he forgot about the chemo he said oh that’s right! Then only sent half the report to my primary dr. Not friendly and seemed quite sad.

Dr Rana seems to be very knowledgeable about what he's doing. I started seeing him for my seizure disorder. I like him and his staff. My only problem with this office is that when you try to call them to ask a question you need to be sure it's before 4:00 even though they claim their office hours are until 5:00. They even state this on the voicemail. But they apparently stop answering phones around 4 or 430.

If I could give this Dr -stars I would. I knew the problem when I went to his off. I came away with nothing done. He blamed prob on weight. Repeated himself over and over, I had to repeat myself. Answers in front of his face and he still asked questions. Here it is 2 wks later, still pain I don't follow up until 5/15 and who knows. Got upset when I could not have mri dot to implant that I have.

Would not recommend this so called dr to my enemy. He was rude and didnt let me finish answering his questions before he abruptly asked another. It felt more like a homocide interrogation than a Dr appointment. The receptionist was nice and that's the only positive thing I have to say. The "Dr." Saw me almost 2 hours after my appointment time. Sace tpyrself some time and stress and go see another Dr.

As I was sitting there waiting to be seen he asked the receptionist to make a phone call to another office and while she was on the phone with them, he kept interrupting her and making it hard to do her job. I felt like saying something because she looked a little stressed out. The man does not have any manners and is extremely rude. From what I hear he comes Into work when he feels like it and not when the patients are there for their appointment. Terrible professionalism.

His practice is getting worse by the day! His staff have all left from what I can tell and he had no idea what he's doing! When I was there serval patients came back into the waiting room and said "He is a waste of time!" and they were right! I don't want to attach another human being or his living, but don't see him for your heath's sake!

I will never recommend him not even if my life depended on it. Has to be the rudest Dr. I've ever seen. "IF YOU GET YOUR MEDICATION FROM ANY OTHER DR. OR ER, I WILL NOT SEE YOU EVER AGAIN"... Totally ignored what I was telling him. Wanted an epileptic to explain what happens during a seizure. (Not What I was told happens) HEY, DA I don't know myself. Wanted every Dr. and every test I've ever had or seen. Dealt with this for 30 yrs. I will never walk into walk into his office again.

Rana ran office by himself, no office personnel. I was charged $200 for my initial consult. I was repeatedly asked if I would return and could pay in cash. No billing allowed for my second appt. I paid $350 for EMG & NCS testing. Yet when questioned about billing for my results appt they were willing to only charge me $60. Rana spent more time questioning my ability to pay cash than trying to diagnosed and treat me. Needless to say I never went back. And my Ins claims have "NOT" been filed.

I can honestly say with my whole heart that this is one of the most profoundly rude practitioners I have seen throughout the course of my existence. I was continually interrupted and treated as if both myself and what I had tried to convey were completely devoid of value. When one is suffering and reaches out for help, the last thing one should ever have to encounter is someone whom is so incredibly abrasive. I implore you to heed my advice and seek the care of another physician.

I would have given 0 stars if I had the option. WARNING-To anyone who is considering a visit with this poor excuse for a human being. How this man can even consider calling himself a doctor, specialist, or medical provider is beyond me. There was an interrogation immediately. Before reviewing my MRI, he told me I was too young for memory loss and said that he would give me medicine for my depression and anxiety. I wasn't anxious before the "interrogation" . I left the office with no answers

Get another doctor... in Princeton, WV – Feb 16, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rana?
Upon arriving for an appointment at 11AM, my husband and I waited until 3 PM to see the doctor. We actually left to get lunch as was told that when we returned the doctor would be ready to see me. The waiting area was filthy and smelled horrible. When Dr. Rana finally saw me at 3 PM, his bedside manners was horrible asking the same questions over and over. He wanted to schedule an MRI and EEG for precaution. The receptionist, after a week, has not scheduled either; so, my husband helped out. Sad

I waited for over 6 months to get an MRI approved finally got it being sent to another dr. Now it's taking along time to get it approved. The secretary/nurse needs to speed things up. It only takes a a few minutes to make a phone call or fax papers.. Dr Rana needs to get some bed side manners.. I will not be going back!! I will also steer people away from his office every chance I get....

Finding New Dr in Asbury, WV – Nov 29, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rana?
This Doctor is extremely unhappy and does not know how to smile as he greets you. He is rude, repeatedly and cold...pays no attention to what you say , which is why he repeats his questions.I felt like I was on trial for getting migraines...He does not understand medication, or fibromyalgia headaches, do not bother to make an appt if you suffer from headache pain from hormones or a car accident...he does not care, I do not care about what you want, I will give you what I want. RUDE !!!!!!!!!!!

My doctor tried for 6 weeks to even get the appointment scheduled. They were never called back. Eventually, I did get an appointment but then it was double booked with someone else. I ended up waiting well over an hour before being seen. Was told he would send the report the next day to my doctor. It has been over a month and they still haven't sent it. They will not return messages from me or my doctor's office.
