A humiliating experience
I left the last review and I have to rescind it, lol. Now that I’ve seen Dr. Sabzwari a few times, I think she is by far the most passive aggressive and dismissive doctor I have ever encountered. There is a difference between being straightforward and being rude. It felt like she was mad at me for asking questions, as if it was somehow an affront to her expertise. I’ve been having some long-term issues with itching and pain, and all she offered was to run the same test that she ran before (where I tested negative for everything), and then suggested that maybe I just had bad hygiene and I should try taking a multivitamin. Every appt with her was like this, just completely humiliating. If you are going to her for something clear-cut, you’ll probably be fine. But if you are having any sort of prolonged problem, or you’re seeking a doctor who is compassionate, communicative, and doesn’t treat you like you’re stupid – then avoid this doctor at all costs.

Pretty good
Dr. Sabzwari listened to my symptoms and the various treatment avenues I had tried. She was attentive and gave me time to ask questions (which she answered). The only thing I did not like was that she didn't warn me when she was going to touch me or insert the speculum – I would have very much appreciated it. Still, that part was fast and relatively painless. Overall, I felt listened to and that I had a productive appointment.

Nice but short appointment
Visited the dr earlier this month for a checkup. The dr office location is pretty busy whenever I visit but she was able to squeeze me in which I appreciated. she answered a few questions I had about PCOS. Short and to the point visit. Dr knows her stuff

AVOID this doctor!
She made several rude remarks to me throughout the entire exam. She scolded me over things that were trivial. She even yelled at me because she recommended an ultrasound to me and then yelled at me twice because 'I can't expect to just get same day ultrasound.' I was standing at the front desk waiting to schedule an appt for a later date for an ultrasound and had not uttered a word about it being done today. It was as if she went out of her way to make me uncomfortable, shame me and put me down.

Unprofessional and uncaring
Scheduled an ultrasound and a Dr's appointment on same day. Was held in the waiting room for 1.5 hrs and was in office for about 2.25 hrs overall. Dr. Sabzwari spent 5 mins ONLY with me. She walked in the room, was unwilling to answer questions, was rude/condescending when asked questions, and in a rush to walk out of the room. In all seriousness, i didn't ask her as much as i'd have wanted and didn't learn anything from her. I hope i'm never in a position to get services from her again. For context, appointment was at Axia Women's Health in Edison, NJ.

Terrible
Condescending, treated me like I'm stupid. Judgemental about my choice to not have kids as yet. Had snarky remarks to make because I don't have a primary care provider. I have valid reasons for not having one and completely understand that I should get one. Last thing I need is a doctor repeatedly making me feel stupid for not having one. Does not listen completely and cuts you off to make a rude remark. No bedside manner.

Extremely unprofessional
I visited Dr. Sabzwari at the Somerset, NJ office today and she is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. I have been going to this office for 10 years and never had a bad experience. This was my first time seeing her because my preferred Dr was not available. As soon as she saw me she starting scolding me and asking me repetitive questions about a birth control pill that I was taking. Treating me like I was a 7 year old girl. She had no interest in hearing my issues or concerns and made me feel extremely small, irrelevant, and out of place. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID HER.

Will not be returning to this office. Came early for my appointment and ended up waiting another hour to be called in while 5+ others went in ahead of me. Waited an hour for a 5min exam. Dr. came in after another long wait and was not friendly, empathetic, or approachable at all and challenged me on many of the statements I shared.

I will never recommend her to anyone!! She's horrid!!! This was my first EVER obgyn visit and I doubt I'll be going back for a LONG while unless it's mandatory. But I'll never let her near me again regardless of when! As another reviewer said, she should not be in practice at all! She rushed the appointment. She barely gave me time for questions. I was naked the entire time (at the nurse's prompting) and very uncomfortable (I hate being naked in unfamiliar places!). Gave me NO time to adjust or try to relax! Kept telling me to relax and ignoring my signals! I tried to tell her to stop MULTIPLE TIMES because the internal part of the exam was painful and SHE DID NOT LISTEN. She ignored me and continued!! (Kept telling me to relax my muscles... Yes, because THAT will help while the person saying that is shoving something where the sun don't shine outside of my control!!) If anyone gets auto-assigned to her like I did, change it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! You won't regret it!!

She is absolutely horrendous. No bedside manner. Condescending and rude. Got in my face about not wanting to have children. Told me she gets anxiety from “Patients like me” when I told her I had GAD. I will absolutely never go to this practice or this dr again. When leaving I asked the receptionist if there were any other drs here because this dr is condescending and rude and the receptionist whispered back “yeah we hear that a lot”. She should not be practicing. She deserves zero stars. Rushed appointment and even lied to the sweet nurse who came in to take my vitals about when my period started. I can only imagine how many people she puts at risk because she rushes through and doesn’t do a throughout exam. She should be ashamed.
