I saw her last year. Spent an hour going over medical history, meds, and a physical assessment and need for bilateral thyroid biopsies due possible cancer. I have PTSD reaction about my neck due to strangulation years ago, and my blood pressure was elevated due to these 2 things.Dr. Montoya refused to refill my blood pressure medicine I’ve been on for decades when I called her office repeatedly and told them I was about to run out, and then HAD RUN OUT AND MY PRESSURE WAS HIGH! She said I had to wait 4 more days for another appointment. Never told me she wouldn’t refill meds until 2nd appointment! I had to call a CEO to get a refill. Then she didn’t notify me that she refilled it. Her boss told me 3 days AFTER she called a refill inSO I went a week without blood pressure medicine at the worst possible time. I was an ICU RN and know how dangerous that is. I could have had a stroke or heart attack. THEN she claimed she couldn’t give me my pathology report. Hospital said “not true”!

She is commendable for providing medical services to small town residents. She is caring, witty & accessible within 2 or 3 days. Wait times can be long because she's so busy. Her staff is always friendly & attentive.

We miss her terribly!! We moved away a decade ago and to date we have not found anyone as thorough as dr Montoya

Dr. Montoya is an excellent doctor. Very caring and concerned. Takes the time to explain everything in language that the average person can understand. Really listens to her patients. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. No complaints ever from my husband and I.
