Dr. Syed Wasim, MD

Dr. Wasim was very unprofessional and distasteful. He treated me with absolute disrespect and was being ruff. He raised my hoodie and shirt off my back with such force as if I was not even a patient. When I asked him why was he being so ruff and rude to me he got very angry with me and pointed his finger in my face and told me “I need to do what he tells me” Which makes no sense if he is the aggressor. My girlfriend asked can some one come in or can she record that made him extremely upset He slammed the rolling chair under the desk and told me he is not going to treat me for my shingles. He canceled my prescriptions. I do not recommend any one that looks like me to go to him. My first appointment was alarming as well because nobody and/or Dr. Has ever threw my Dreads off of my shoulder in such a way that felt Disrespectful but I ignored it & I wish I hadn’t and I wish I would’ve chose a more caring and respectful Dr. When I had a chance. I hope nobody goes through what I went through

Office is so slow and it is hard to get an appointment right away. Doctor is very rude.

Going to the doctor has never been so much fun! I laugh (loudly) and always learn something every time I visit Dr. Wasim and his wonderful office staff. He respects your privacy, and explains information in such detail, a child could understand, interns keep the visits exciting. The visits feel like family his nurse Holly is wonderful! Thank you for making a trip to the doctors office feel like a field trip. I'd recommend his services to anyone who is in need of a good physician!

I am very satisfied with my office visits with Dr. Wasim. I have been able to call on several occaisions to get either a same day appointment or a very quick appointment when I wasn't feeling well. He takes his time to ask me questions and explains my illness to me in detail. I am very confident in the diagnosis and the prescriptions provided by Dr, Wasim. I thoroughly trust Dr,. Wasim with my healthcare needs.

While Dr. Wasim has the required education to handle his patients health concerns, he is obsessive in his routines and this 'non-conforming' approach affects the level of care his patients receive. Something as simple signing an insurance form requires an office appointment and couple hours to kill. In order not to miss work I once asked him if he could sign an insurance form that wanted my waist size and weight and a doctors signature. He told me to 'make an appointment' (my fourth that year)
