Empathetic, kind, professional
Our son has complex medical needs and had many surgeries early in his life. Dr. Bhattacharya has performed 95% of his surgeries and there is no one else I trust to have in the operating room with my son.

terrible bedside manner. my daughter had to have her appendix removed spur of the moment and when we met him in pre-op he came in with no emotion on his face and didn’t even shake my hand.. just told me who he was and that he was removing my childs’ appendix. i did not want to take up much of his time because i know he wanted to hurry up and start but a little reassurance that my baby was in good hands would’ve been nice. also his head nurse in surgery was extremely rude with me and so be being a scared helpless mom i obviously got an attitude in return.. wish i hadn’t because i guess that was the reason why he took so long to come and talk to me after her surgery. my daughter was out of surgery almost an hour waiting on me in recovery before he even came in to talk to me and once again showed no emotion didn’t crack a smile didn’t shake my head just said,”the surgery went well she’s in recovery” and walked right back out the room. parents just please be aware of this
