Dr. Wu is very compassionate and she and her office staff are extremely helpful. She has provided top-notch care for my Mom who is in palliative care with her. She works well with the patients’ caregivers too. I highly recommend her.

Everything that everyone else has been saying about her lines up with my experience with her. She was okay at first, but when I wanted to discuss a cardiovascular issue that I experienced and was concerned about, she was very dismissive and reiterated that I was too young to have such issues and that I was just fine with a smarmy little smirk on her face. Fast forward to present day and I'm getting EKGs and related tests done.

While Dr. Wu was quick to message me if I ever needed anything, her negligence landed me in the ER. I found her to be dismissive, non-communicative (she wouldn't get me in earlier when symptoms started to appear- I had to wait two weeks, I had to call twice to get her to call me to explain my test results and next steps) and not interested or concerned with diagnosing me (I had to push for more tests to understand why I was having such alarming symptoms and then it was too late- I was rushed to the ER). Perhaps this is a symptom of the limited time John Muir allows for PCP's to spend with each patient along with a generation who doesn't pick up the phone to communicate. It's also a reflection of Dr. Wu's (lack of) patient concern. Either way, I would not choose Dr. Wu to partner with you on your health journey. She just doesn't take the time with patients when things get scary and serious- which is exactly when you need your doctor.

Rude & negligent… Avoid her!
Terrible experience with sway wu and the family medicine resident. I told her I was having really extreme symptoms and she was dismissive and negligent of my problems. I don’t suggest her unless you need really simple nutritional advice. AVOID!

Dr Wu helped us through my prenatal care and was the doctor performing my much needed c-section alongside Dr Nicole Steinmuller. She is also my baby’s and mine primary care physician. She is brilliant, on top of her medical knowledge and very kind and thoughtful. I would 100% recommend her.
