Very pleasant and very thorough

I have been a type 1, pump-using diabetic for two decades. After close to a 20-year relationship with my prior endocrinologist, I decided to switch endocrinologists due to the significant driving distance for me. I was referred to Dr. Rao after impressing on the scheduler that I had to have a physician that would treat me as a colleague and not as a child as it related to managing my diabetes. Dr. Rao met and frankly exceeded my expectations. She was efficient, addressed my immediate concerns, listened, created my goals and the methodology that would get me to these goals. She was not judgmental or critical, but obviously an insightful, well-researched and forward-thinking endocrinologist. Above all, she was caring - specifically regarding a serious medical issues of my family member. In summary, I would recommend Dr. Rao for new or long-term diabetic patients and admittedly, I am a tough judge of healthcare providers so this is the highest of praises.

Dr. Rao cares about you as a person, listening to everything you say or ask. She takes her time to respond, giving her all to each patient. I just love her! She’s so empathetic and caring.

Very caring Doctor

Dr. Rao is very compassionate and caring for her patients. She stays on top of things, genuinely cares and will do anything to help make things easier for her patients. Most drs don’t make phone calls when problems arise for patients yet she will. I wish she were a dr for multiple things, I’d see her for everything! She’s brought so much comfort to me while I’ve had gestational diabetes.

Dr Rao is easy to talk to and attentive to my needs and Documents everything so it’s in my permanent file! I’ve seen her 3 times and I’m comfortable calling her one of my favorite Drs now! She calls my Perscription in right away and it’s already at the pharmacy before I leave her office! Her nurse was great too and I got my bloodwork done right in her office and results in less than 24 hours! Dr Rao gets 5 stars for a good bedside manner too! The whole office visit was fast but efficient from the time I came in to the time I left! No wait time at all!

Dr. Rao is the fourth endocrinologist I've had since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, due to relocation of previous providers. She listens well, provides thoughtful advice, and is very willing to discuss her recommendations and any concerns I may have. I appreciate the flexibility of being able to schedule phone or video visits in addition to in-person visits. She and her staff are very responsive to prescription refill requests and questions.

Dr Rao is very helpful and takes time to listen to my concerns. She has been willing to adjust treatments as necessary. I appreciate her kindness and humor. She is also willing to explore other options and explains things well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Roa for many years. I appreciate getting an appointment that fits my schedule. I like getting my blood tests in the office so I don’t need to go anywhere else. The waiting time is very short and the room is always clean. Dr. Roa always takes her time when explaining my condition and any questions I have. The ease she puts out to me any time I’m in for a checkup truly helps the nerves. I would highly recommend Dr Rao and this office for any patient that needs help with endocrinology and diabetes.

Dr. Rao’s “bedside manner”was excellent. She was friendly, but stuck to the point. My visit was a follow up to a previous visit but I showed up with a far more pressing problem. She addressed the previous is quickly. Then we discussed my new and troublesome problem with sound advice and a challenge to do better. I had been half dreading tho visit but she put me at ease very quickly! I highly recommend Dr. Rao to anyone who needs an endrichrinologist.
