Dr. Swaranjit Chani, MD

I was a patient of hers for years. Never a harsh word between us. She's a very friendly dr with excellent bedside manners. I trusted her with my life! I recommended everyone I knew to her. I let them know that she would take good care of them and refer them to a specialist when a health issue is not her area of expertise. I had absolutely had no reason not to trust her. I started having some strange and disturbing symptoms so I googled the symptoms and it named a handful of diseases that are associated with the symptoms I was having. One of the diseases associated with my symptoms is cirrhosis. So I decided to have some of my records pulled of my visits with her. Come to find out she knew I was terminally ill with cirrhosis of the liver for over two years from the day I discovered it for myself in my records! I should've been referred right away at the time she knew of this. I could've been taking medication that slows down the progression of this terrible disease. I was denied that with her. She never told me! I'm still looking for a new GP. I will NEVER understand how a Dr could do this to a patient. I deserve the same care and treatment for my illness as the next person. I'm very hurt and very scared. I, and no other patient deserves to be treated like I was by a Dr I trusted with my life! .
