Good doctor, ruined by sketchy billing practices. When I picked up my orthotics, I did not see Dr Malinsky. The receptionist handed them to me, told me to put them in my shoes and confirm that they felt ok. I said yes. I was charged a co-pay office visit for this. Annoying, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be argumentative. However, when I got my bill for the orthotics I was charged an additional amount for "99213-EST PT, EXPANDED H/EXAM" – $212.00 was charged to my insurance and the left over charged to me. So I was charged twice for an "office visit / exam" in which I never saw Dr Malinsky. The office notes say they "fitted the orthotics to my shoes" .... I guess if you call the receptionist handing me the orthotics and telling me to put them in my shoes "fitting" ... but seems dishonest to charge my insurance and myself for an "exam" where I didn't see Dr Malinsky and mainly just walked into the office to pick up orthotics.
