I would leave a 0 star rating if possible for Dr. Suzanne Roberts. She is one of the worst for physicians that I have ever seen, does not listen, she talks down to you, and her bedside manner is atrocious please go elsewhere.

Dr. Roberts bedside manner is just as poor as her willingness to listen to her patients. I have been seen by Internal Medicine for over eight years and she is the most curt and un-empathetic providers I have had. I saw her for maybe five minutes but I can guarantee she will bill for the full fifteen. She scoffed at a specialists recommendations even after someone within that practice made the recommendation to seek that service. I will be looking for care outside of SMHC where I’ll be heard and not looked at as another number.

I actually leave zero stars due to the fact I called after hours & was told to by my PCP if my condition didn’t improve. I was abruptly spoken to & asked very rudely, “So what’s the emergency?” I said it wasn’t an emergency, that I was calling as told, to see if something could be done so I wouldn’t have to expose myself by going to the ER. Medication wasn’t working & she said she wasn’t changing a thing. She asked when I was diagnosed with my condition & said I would have to wait for the next day to talk to PCP, which I respect, but it was all about the mannerism & condescending sharp, abrupt tone of voice. What good is an on call Dr. if you call & get no answers to help try to improve your condition & feel like you are infringing on their time & bothering them??? Thank goodness, this is the only Dr. that I have encountered this behavior from!!! If she is on call again I can assure I will go to ER rather than expose myself to her hurtful behavior!!!

Dr. Roberts is not much more help to me than a simple Google search. She always talks to me for a couple minutes and either tells me to just go to the drug store for my ailments or refers me out to a specialist. She does not do any treatment in office. If I need even the most minor treatment, I have to visit a specialist and pay a higher premium. I also had a lot of trouble booking appointments. My average wait time was between 2 and 3 weeks. I will be leaving the practice.
