Dr. Suyin Chi, MD

This Doctor was very nice and thorough. She explained everything, asked if I had any questions. I would recommend her.

I had no idea who she was and she was annoyed to have to see me. The nurse said that I had a fever and since I’m in the hospital for an MRSA infection, that’s concerning. She didn’t thoroughly read my chart and thought I had mrsa in the past. I explained that I’d had it for two mos and that I wanted to take this seriously. She said she saw no documentation of fevers in my chart. The nurse had just told me I had a fever. She charted that I’d claimed to have fevers but that there was no record of any in my chart. My culture showed mrsa & my dr sent notes that it needs to be taken seriously even though it presents differently that typical mrsa. Dr Chi told me how mrsa typically presents & said I didn’t have mrsa. My test says I do. I told her that I don’t want it to get worse. I was showing her where it hurt and she said to not touch it. She charted that I was constantly touching my wound and had to be told that it wouldn’t heal if I keep touching it. She was condescending & dismissive.
